I wouldn't watch Gilmore Girls without the big 5 - Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Richard and Luke.

Logan - I do like him but he just doesn't rock my socks and he isn't SH and his character hasn't been written into the fabric of the show the way Luke has.

Most importantly Rory needs to be there. No Rory, no GG for me.

I was just about to post that the only way I'd stop watching is if LG left...

Actually though, I'm so invested in this show that I think I'd watch it regardless of who stayed.

hey i just saw at another thread a new description of Gilmore's girls only, that included Logan going after Rory to apologize so I guess the breakup foiler/spoiler might have not been that foiler after all, RL will have a BIG fight (it'll last 2 eppis at Logan even goes to North Carolina to fix it...) and then they'll make up and be in good terms again for the Stars Hollow visit in 718... which is really OK by me... I get some ppl is getting bored at their happinness, but let's face it is just 'cause they aren't as invested in RL relationship as some of us.. I get it, Logan only entered the show after 4 years and 2 other really important guys in rory's life, but u know what? I am OK with that too... cuz I really think that if this is the last season there's no way they r breaking those 2, first of all because of the way they have been portrayed the entire season, this is by far the most committed, open and happy rory's ever been with a guy (ok sure Dean was cute in season 1, but he wasn't a match for her)... And second, because they are definitely going strong by 718, which leaves them 4 episodes to the finale, with Dean it took more than a season to break them up and well, no offense to the Lits here, but it was crearly going bad with Jess almost from the beggining...
I don't think I'm being optimistic at all, it is just the facts... So, what do you guys think?

I would watch whatever thing that Matt Czuchry will do. But I wouldn't say that I wouldn't care if Lorelai and Rory are out... that show wouldn't be Gilmore Girls anymore.

if Lauren left there would be no show, didn't we get a report from Ausiello that said they could leave Rory out of a few eps "Plan B" but not the case with Lorelai.

I'm on the fence, while IMO from a story POV it could work to have Rory miss a few weeks I doubt a lot of the other fans would think this and the polls have shown it.

This may be what the "spoiler" was talking about. But I don't think it will be a breakup. I don't think, after everything, Rory would break up with Logan because he reacted immaturely to a business failure. They'll fight over it. But I don't see an actual breakup.

If they do another "we were on a break" scenario I swear I'm gonna pull my hair out...and I like my hair.
