There is also the issues of the impending writers strike that has most of hollywood up in arms right now. I don't know what the truth is but this smells like the bs from last year and that they've probably come to some decision and are just keeping it to themselves. Its Feb and the show wraps in April. I doubt they'd keep the crew hanging on that long. I don't think either LG or AB are that cruel. Forget about sp, but their siging also puts the career of over 100 people in jeopardy.

ETA: maybe they should call up jj abrams I'm sure he'd pay them some of the cash warners threw at him for his production deal.

SEriously though, the WB execs (studio) need to get their heads out of their arses

You're excused. I don't recall saying the romances weren't important, but they're not the be all and end all of this show either. The L-R-E-R family dynamic? Missing for much of the season, although it is picking back up, so that's something.

That aside, Leoanna, because SAYING NO is definite position. By not saying no, Kim and Lauren have put themselves in a stronger position. They may want to do the show. However, they want to get paid. Again, they paid Steven Collins, a ridiculous amount of money for a show that's not as solid a performer worldwide or on ancillaries. Warners needs to pay. For one last year, they need to pay to give this show a proper ending. If not, then, **** them and their cheap attitude.

One last thing; Rory and Logan poster? Nice. It does not reveal they are proposing. HUZZAH!

I agree that they deserve the money. I just don't like the impression that I'm getting from what has been posted that they are heartless, and putting the other actors' jobs in jeopardy. I don't think that's the case. However, that's jmo.

I had not heard of that, great I can see it now DSR writing the last 5 eps all by him self, does tat thought scare anyone else ??

If what was being said is true its not just hte actors jobs they are putting in jeopardy but the whole team

Or holding out for better written scripts. Maybe she realizes that the quality of the show has deteriorated and she doesn't want to sign on for another year of sub-par episodes. She wants to leave before the show really jumps the shark.

Anyway, who knows what is going on behind the scenes. I think that AB is really, seriously, contemplating her future. Is it worth it to her to stay or go? Only she knows.

I think it's incredible that there are people here who would happily watch Gilmore Girls without Rory, but not without Luke. I certainly wouldn't watch Gilmore Girls without Lorelai *or* Logan. I don't discriminate.

Since Luke is my favorite character, it wouldn't matter which of the girls are there, but I wouldn't watch without him.

Seriously, I think that is wonderful... you need a show just with him, but why to call it Gilmore Girls... If he moves to New mexico maybe you could have a 100% Luke's show and you shouldn't suffer the nightmare of some episode where he is showed just by seconds.

I do think not having either Luke or Rory for the whole season would kill the show but having Rory miss a few eps from a SL POV (moveing the NYC for a job say) would make more sense than Luke, unless they set him off to be with April, which I would not rule out.
