Scott lead me to believe when I spoke with him last week that he would love to do another season if there is one. I know I don't know you or your source and believe me I like your posts about the lunch with Scott and everything but now it's just a matter of how can we put Gilmore Girls out there so that everybody talks about the show. They know it's not doing so well compared to the seasons under Amy. They need the talk and I just can't wrap my mind about the fact they haven't done anything so far to get the most important people to do a little something for another season. I mean David already got more episodes. Lauren got her producer role and they picked up some other stuff from her production company. Scott had some stuff in his contract about an 8 season when he sign for season 7. They change pits and pieces so they can do another season and the network just needs the show. It's already February and we went through the same last year with Amy's contract.

Maybe I just don't want to give up my hope or I just can't stick a needle into my bubble but another season is just so obvious to me - I don't worry about it. We'll get it.

and it prolongs your life but I'm not so sure if I should count on that one because I already laughed for at least 2 lives so far and I still have a lot of time to kill

But it has been doing good in the demo it's after and beating out the others to came 2nd behind AI, so IMO the CW should be doing all it can to get them back.

That's just one more thing that adds to it. The ratings are doing good for the network. Gilmore Girls always had this viewer/fan base that puts the show on second place behind AI. I really think that now we got rid off one certain fella and the show can finally start to go back to its roots some of the viewers will come back.
Of course we'll have to wait and see what the next episode will bring but the promo looks so promising to me right now. I mean Babette, Miss Patty and Kirk at their best - I just love it. I want more of it. I don't even care about an Lorelai/Luke encounter in that episode. I wanna see the townies. I missed them so much. I wanna see a Luke rant - I prefer one involving Taylor. I really don't care - I want Stars Hollow !!!

And it's weird how they seam to be pushing L&L together now and I bet that's gonna happen for the rest of the season until it happens, fans will tune in expecting a big reunion "next weeK" week after week, I just wonder with the whole Chris thing how long will they hold on this time. Didn't we go through this for the first 4 YEARS of the show???
