Craig, I am curious about something. You want LL together, you love Lauren, but you make belittling comments about Lorelai at least once a week. Why do you want them together at all?

I don't think Lorelai has a giant ego, I think she is horribly insecure, actually. If she had a giant ego, it wouldn't have occurred to her that Luke wouldn't want to marry her. Which it obviously did, as it has been brought up a number of times. She also wouldn't be so afraid of losing Rory to every Chris, Dick and Emily, whenever they have bonding moments.

Lorelai is not suffering from a huge ego but a far too small one and severe insecurity. Sometimes I wish rory would make her watch episode after episode of doctor phil.

It's also her wedding that they're going to. So we probably see present day Mia as well. Didn't gossipcom say they reach their destination? Or was it that there was a confirmed destination?

Genki, you just had to bring up the freakin hook hand. It's bad enough that I cannot separate Claire Bennett's mom from that accursed show. You just had to bring up one of the most ridiculous story-lines ever on a show. God...what a waste of time that show turned out to be. At least it employed some good actours...that accounts for something.

With the wow...again...wow. It's more a subdued; "They are going to talk? Really? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!." Again, I want them together, but they should have more than one talk. Unless this talk is similar to Chris and Lorelai's talk tonight...anything else will be a bit hokey.

With Kathy Baker being on the show; she's is a hell of an actress. Anytime GG can hire such an actress, that's all good in the hood to me. I have not shared this, but I am really happy MIA returns this season. So it's not the ORIGINAL MIA. Mia returns. The Girls have kept in touch with Mia. That means a lot to me as a fan of this show.

One last thing; Sandlynn, unlike your Luke criticism which is very strange. Since it completely undermines the character of Luke and makes him nothing more than a troglodyte with a stick in his hands. You so have a right to your skepticism. However, when yellow and blue make green. Does it seem wise to ignore the colour...green?

Why would it be a waste of time? If they learn from their relationship, if they are good friends and mutually agree that they are just not ready to be together forever, would that be so wrong? It could just be a timing thing. They might leave their future open. Maybe Rory and Lorelai will both be single at the end of the season. Loreali starting over with Luke, as friends with potential, and Rory and Logan as friends with a possible distant future together.

I just think she is self centred sometimes, I agree this week she went the other way and for much of the ep was doing all she could to make it work.

Nothing to be sorry for, I was just really curious. And frankly, I have yet to meet a lead that wasn't self centered. (And if there is a pair, there is usually the self-centered one and the more martyr-y one. Examples: of self centered? Lorelai, Mulder, Buffy. Somewhat martyr-y about the self-centered one? Rory, Scully, the guy of the season and most of the Scoobies.) And of course, they are also able to switch roles, but then it is usually a pretty straightforward swap. (One becomes the Me-Me, while the other one is all long suffering and/or tortured about it.) I tend to think of Rory as more long-suffering than tortured though.

On a pure STORYTELLING LEVEL it blows. Not your spec, but your spec possibly coming to fruition on this show would be completely unsatisfactoury. While Lorelai has EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE ALONE. Ending a show with the possibility of things...sucks. Everyone deserves love on this show. It's that kind of show. To leave it open the way you want it to be is more like something David Mamet would write instead of something SHO-RUNNA and the SGGWT would right..

Haven’t seen the ep yet, so anything I say is just spec, but I guess the crush was just a „harmless little crush“ and not the „intense“ one as it was suggested, so if the „breakup“ spoiler for R/L goes into the same direction, R/L are probably happily married towards the end of the season.

And could the “happy dances” and bashing and what ever please continued in the appropriated threads, when I saw how fast the thread moved along I actually thought, wow, there must be a lot of new spoilers, how silly of me to actually believe this.
