No one can deny the LC and Chris bashing that went on in this thread from 7.03 til 7.13. Hardly anyone seemed to "respect the journey they've [LC] taken" nor appreciate their story arc. Sure, but I never hard-core Christopher bashed. But you weren't speaking directly to me, so it's a silly argument to pick. I apologize.

However, the CL scenes in this episode are far better than some of the ones we've had this season, and while I can't say with perfect certainty that it's not because they're breaking up, that's how I feel. They are infused with so much more emotion, honesty, and sincerity than the other scenes. And Christopher is finally saying things that make sense. So yes, he is okay in this episode. I rather like him.

they both ended it. he was trying to tell her it was over and she just didn't want to creep out from under that rock just yet, but by the end of the episode she understood what they were stumbling towards. she came home, and he actually showed up and she knew that he knew that this was it. case closed!

Well, whatever it might be, the warning bells are going off. Fluff storylines for Rory that are resolved by the end of the episode, with R/L pledging undying love to each other? They're too perfect.

I think episodes 708-714 were enjoyable

as much as I hate the mere sight of chris. I will take Season 7 over season 6 hands down.

You know how Lorelai was saying that he leaves when there's an argument or what not... Anyone notice how in thier second talk right when it started getting a bit heated he decided it was time to go to his mom's house.

Just something I notice, he actually came back that time but he was still running away from the issue for a bit, JMO.

That aside, JJs, I know that you guys have selective memories. However, Lorelai stated, that SHE JUMPED. SHE JUMPED! SHE JUMPED! She admitted copability! Hooray Lorelai! She jumped. Ignore everything else to fit your version of reality, that you admitted to day was decidedly skewed. Nevertheless, he did not push her. She jumped. CASE...CLOSED...and now many of you are now understanding what many of us understood a while ago...yo yo.

Again, you guys admit to seeing only part of the story in this thread, but you in turn believe that you can bash something. You obviously never gave a **** about? If being a shipper is equated to being illogical for no good reason. **** BEING A SHIPPER. I love stuff. That's how I ROLL.

Yep. I would agree that good R/L shipper scenes usually give some people that.

Yep. And next week is going to be all about the Gilmores. I am just picturing how cranky Richard is going to be.

Hee. Well, I guess the TA storyline gave me agita, then. How corny and stupid was it? I was yelling at Rory not to tell Logan about it, because it amounted to nothing. NOTHING. Even Alexis had a hard time mustering up much of anything in her scenes with the TA.

I think the rest of RL's story arc would have more to do with their future, family, and career decisions (Mitchum's reappearance makes me think this), less with their love relationship per se. I think now it's been pretty well established that they love each other, belong together, etc etc. Future conflicts would no longer be about that, but other issues happening to both of them.
