Definitely looks like it! And also looks like Rory might have gotten a haircut (which could be okay, but I was really loving AB's hair recently!)...we will be able to see more next week I guess!

I hope we get some good stuff for the town gossips next week, and since they are in the diner then I guess Luke will know soon, will they tell him?

SPEC - Lorelai goes into the diner to apologise for the gossips or for not telling Luke sooner.

Perhaps. But per the sides of 7.18, where Rory is "delighted" that Logan and Lorelai are "bonding", the "fall" doesn't seem to have occurred yet, so the writers by that ep are kinda, sorta running out of time.

And really, how bad can the "fall" be, if they supposedly end up as "soulmate friends"?

Act 4

Michele and Loreali go to get some music from the store where Zack works. Zack tells Michele he is sorry about Chin Chin. Lorelai tells Michele that Zack is going to do the music. Zack suggests some vintage Booie (sorry if I misspelt David Booie’s name). Zack suggests some songs with the word dog in them and asks Lorelai if she gets where he is going. Lorelai shakes her head No. She tells him she’s thinking “more Princess Diana, less dog”. Celine Dion song. Michele likes the Celine Dion option. He says “My Heart Will Go On” was Chic Chin’s song. Lorelai looks through the sheet meeting for the song and finally finds it. Michel is happy. She gives it to Zack to learn. Zack doesn’t look too thrill about it. Loreali tells Michele that they are all set for the funeral. She tells him they have the music, he has his suit (which he is holding in his hand), they have to top by the printers and approve the layout for the program.

As they are talking, they are walking by Luke’s diner. Michele tells her he is going to stop in at Luke. Michel bought a hamburger from Luke previously but when he got home he thought about it and dumped it in the garbage. Chin Chin however found it in the garbage and liked it. Chin Chin seemed to enjoy Lukes’ burgers the most. Michele tells Lorelai he will eat burger in Chin Chin’s memory. Lorelai tells Michel to in and get the burger and wishes him luck. Lorelai looks through the window and sees Luke. They both wave at each other. She walks again from the diner looking very sad.

Act 5

Rory comes back home to see Logan standing outside her door waiting for her. She is happy to see him and hugs him. She asks him what he is doing there. He tells her he couldn’t wait until Sunday. Paris is not at home. She’s at some belling dancing affair at the Yale Belly Dancing Society. Rory tells Logan she has to talk to him. She tells him its’ hard for her to bring up the subject but because of the situation with Marty she wants to tell him about it now so he doesn’t think it ‘s a bit deal.

She tells him maybe she doesn’t want to be happy, maybe its human nature. He ask her if she’s not happy. She says may be she has a self sabotaging streak. She tells him about the TA, that he is good looking and she ran into him at the Library looking for a book on Isabel Allende. She told him it’s the way she told him about the book and how weird she was and that she googled him. She tells him she’s turning into a monster. He tells her she not a monster. Logan tells her it sounds like she has a crush on the guy. She’surprise he’s not upset about it. She asks him if she broke him. He says: “What”? She tells him that Paris think she broke him and that if she kicked him with her spurs, he would not spook. She tells him he belongs to her and he tells her she belongs to him.

He said it was his own fault before and that he overreacted to Marty. He trusts her and his is not worried about them. They kiss. Logan asks her if Paris has belly dance before and why are they not there watching her. They both leave to watch Paris.

At the DFI, guests are all sitting with their pets listening to Zack play the Celine Dion song on his acoustic guitar. Michel is wiping his eyes with his handkerchief. Lorelai is standing all alone at the doorway looking on. She looks very sad. She returns to the CS and we can still hear the ending of Zack’s guitar solo.

Christopher is sitting and waiting on the couch. She says. Hi. He asks about the funeral. She says it was sad. They both sit on the couch. She starts to cry. She says “It’s just not Luke”

She’s crying and tells him it’s not just Luke. You were right. There are feeling there because when it ended she just jumped. Christopher said he pushed her. Lorelai says she jumped. She tells him if that’s all there was we could fix it with time. Christopher: “But is not.” Lorelai shakes her head.

Loreali tells him “You’ve always been this possibility for me. This wonderful possibility, but it’s just not right and I am so Sorry. I am so sorry.”

Christopher: “Yeah”. He looks sad.

Christopher: I guess I should have known. It took us 20 years to get you to say yes

Lorelai: I need you to know you are the man I want to want. You have no Idea how badly I wish …

Chirstopher: I do know.

It ends with them sitting on the couch and Christopher holding her hand and rubbing his head.

I don't think it was particularly harsh of secret_life, Tara Ashley. Hell, I certainly didn't care much for the journey or the way it was handled. I am just glad it is done.

I just saw the promo, where are the girls going, would it still be light out for FND or are they going early 'cause Richard needs to get to bed early?

No one can deny the LC and Chris bashing that went on in this thread from 7.03 til 7.13. Hardly anyone seemed to "respect the journey they've [LC] taken" nor appreciate their story arc. And it's just funny-interesting-weird to me that now I'm seeing these kinds of posts and about how Chris is okay and the LC scenes good--now that they're breaking up (of course).

It was just an observation. I myself am relieved that we can all move on from the LLC debacle.

I'm thinking until the end of the season.

Christopher may have called her on having feelings for Luke, and admitted he took advantage of her (it does feel good to be right, damselfly

) but Lorelai came right out and told him he was just a fantasy. OUCH.

Don't forget to take that flatscreen with yah, Dopey.

Lauren, hopefully agita is a transient condition, and will be gone in a bout four episodes. I still would worry about L/R, though. I guess I'm just a cynic when it comes to this show.

I think the JOURNEY was a big load of horse manure, and a waste of 13 episodes, this one being the exception because the ending was much better than anything that went on during the JOURNEY. Amy shoved it down everybody's throat by signing DS for the "A" storyline with Lorelai. But it's over! And I'm not sorry!!

I don't think we can. Cause people will evitabley continue to bring it up. I equate Chris to jess. I dislike both so I bash both. Its the nature of shipping I am afraid.
