ITA - time has past and to some extent how they have been helping each other over the last few eps shows me they are past the blaming point. But they still need to talk. I think they did talk between S..GT and PF but we didn't see in and maybe it was just then and after (with Lorelai's job offer, the TH and especially when April came) they stopped talking about some things.

Someone needs to take the leap and make the first move and I hope it's Lorelai in a R&R type scene where they kissed for the first time!

Amen. And in Run Away, Little Boy, as someone else mentioned, she runs down a list of townies who will always be in her life, including Luke. She doesn't mention Emily or Richard. I think that was telling. (I could be wrong here, have a massive migraine but can't stay away from the discussion lol).

And it looks like this road trip will take them down memory lane and remind them both how important SH was and always will be to them. How sweet it will be remininscing about Mia and Rory and Lane as little girls. They are remembering the time they moved to SH and I can't imagine it being anything but good memories. I wonder if we are going to see flashbacks of a younger Luke and Lorelai when they first met? And I love the idea of little Rory dressed up as Charlotte Bronte for Halloween. I miss that Rory.

i want a good ending to the season.
Because it probably be the last.
Not just the fact that Luke and Lorelai come together (if that ever going to happen, HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT!!!).
It's just not a good ending for us fans.

Earlier, there was some discussion as to what Emily meant by the 'blood is thicker than water' comment at the end of the last episode.

The utility of 'blood is thicker than water' is pretty simple. Emily sees that Lorelai is upset that Chris went off with Rory rather than staying with her. Because Rory is Chris's flesh and blood.

And, please, don't let this spark off a whole new round of posts about Chris being a deadbeat dad.

I don't see any reason for breaking up C&L if there was not gonna be a divorce but like the lack of L&L spoilers we still have NOTHING about a divorce, any guesses as to if we will hear the "D" word at the end of the next episode or when Lorelai tells Rory and Emily or will they just be separating for a time? You know just enough time so Chris can come back at graduation and make things better! Just when things are great with Luke and Lorelai again.

Never even thought of that angle. Could be. I just thought Emily was responding to Lorelai's thanks for her comment "Every cloud has a silver lining". Lorelai did sound a little surprised that her mom would comfort her lol.

Thanks Mirella. Feeling a bit better. At least now I can hold my head up for longer than a minute.

This could also explain why Rory was so excited to see Christopher but not so much to see Luke.

Well for all his faults he is her father and now (not for much longer) married to her mother so the reaction is normal IMO, I do love that Logan offered Luke some coffee but nothing to Chris
