Technically the boat belongs to Lorelai.

I think the change will be Luke looking for a home of his own. He's needs a place to keep the boat and also a place for April to have privacy. She needs her own room if she's going to stay for part of the summer. She will also have friends at his place so they will need some space to hang.

But I'm still hoping for him to ask Lorelai to help him look for a new place. Friends do that sort of thing.

That boat has been moving. First it was in Lorelai's garage, then they moved it to do some work on it, then it went to Liz and TJ's garage (at least that's what I think), and the last time it was seen, it was back in Lorelai's garage.

I now also wonder if the scene in which Luke discovers that Liz and TJ want to sell the boat is the scene Ingw and I got to see when they were shooting it. We didn't think much about it at the time, but come to think of it, Luke did seem sort of angry-ish when he got into his truck and slammed the door... (when Ingw and I talked about it, we thought it was just Luke being Luke).

I didn't know that my servant comment about Luke would create such a mess in this thread, I was just stating the opinion I had and still have and probably always will. But it's my opinion, no need to discuss it

(And it's nothing against "servants" per se, I worked as and kind of still am as I'm a FA. Still, well, from his educational point Luke is the picture perfect clichee servant imo, whatever. Not going further into this as I don't want to cause more discussions. He's simply not my number one for Lorelai, he'd bore her to death after three years at last, imo)

How so? Mitchum's never been anything but straight with Logan. The expectations were written in stone from the day he was born, and Logan has always known it. Actually I think it would be fun to see that 'Emily house' on his list - maybe that story spilling out of Lorelai.

They just talk about the episode. No scoop or anything. They liked pretty much everything. Logan, Rory, Emily and Lorelai. Chris is not really their favorite in that episode

Thinking back I agree that he probably was a little mad when he walked out..I was too busy thinking "oh my GOD it's Luke!" to take real notice of his mood

Anyway, maybe what Luke overhears when Liz and TJ talk about him is something about how he hasn't moved on from Lorelai or something and maybe they think getting rid of the boat would help him do that in some way? No idea..Seems kind of wierd..

Chris v Luke in last weeks ep, how they really made Chris look bad and Logan look good.

MA liked the Emily stuff and Rory and Logan in the ep.

I asked if Chris would be around for Rory after the break up but I got a feeling they didn't know, MA though probably.
