My big concern re Mitchum, and Logan investing his own money is that this will be a "device" like the April one to break up Rory and Logan, i.e. having Logan not be able to deal with the stress, shut Rory out, get back into partying with his friends to avoid his problems, etc. I.E. same old plot device, same old plot device. If they want Rory to be single at the end, I'd rather it be because she wants to explore life a little more, devote herself f/t to a career. Or better, have Logan lose his safety net trust fund and Dad's support, and strike out totally on his own merit. That would be interesting, and I think would fit in with how they are having him mature as a person and benefiting from Rory's influence. Logan and Rory both in New York trying to make their fortunes, beats another guy bales on a Gilmore Girl.

Oh yeah, newly born infants are comedy gold. Flocks of 18 to 34 year olds love shows about infants who do absolutely nothing but sleep, eat, and poop. I wonder who would be free to audition for the role. Too bad Jonathan Winters is dead.

Well it depends on the demos, did someone say more young people are watching Lorelai with the older ones watch Rory. Maybe they have done market research, just hope it's not the same research that lead DSR to think Chris was a good idea!

Maybe my TV is in the Twilight Zone and I see a bizaro version of the show, where Mitchum tried to control Logan most of his life and was a jerk to Rory and baled on his son when he was in the hospital, and everyone else see's someone else.
