I agree, but at the same time part of that empowerment is to get back what she lost and a big part of her life for 10 years was going to Luke's and her friendship with Luke so over the next few eps that will grown, hopefully leading back to them as a couple about ep 19, the big 150!

Who knows maybe they'll have a "spring fling" in ep 18 to kick things off again!

How this can manage to be not about Luke. I think she's letting go of all of it. And I think, like with many things, when you let go of something, many times that's when you find exactly what you've been searching for so hard to begin with. I agree. This title is making me really hopeful for Lorelai. This is what I've been wanting for her for a long time. I hope it isn't a one episode thing that they never go back to.

We know nothing of the road trip yet, where are they going, why and how long?

It seems weird to be going anywhere so soon after Richard gets out of the hospital. Who knows maybe they are having money problems and make a trip to north of the boarder to get cheap drugs for Richard? LOL

I think Rory and Lorelai were planning to go on the road trip alone, but Emily hears about it and wants to go too because she's been driven crazy having to take care of Richard constantly.

Definitely me too. We've all seen how Richard gets when he can't work. If he's basically housebound I would imagine it being even worse. Although if he's housebound I don't know why Emily would leave.

Well if the CW wants to lose the young demographic then they can use Plan B other wiise they have to face the facts Plan b is a disaster even some fans who don't really like Logan say they won't watch a show without Rory. Plus without Rory can you imagine Emily and Richard having as much contact with Lorelai.
