April making Luke a bracelet, and him wearing it? Ha, she's so got him wrapped around her little finger, Daddy Luke.

Logan in Stars Hollow - I love that Lorelai is getting along with him. I wish we get to see them bonding alone together for a day or two, while Rory's in Providence or whatever.

And Michel. of course he'll love Logan. He dresses nicely, no flannel; is clean shaven; doesn't wear a hat in doors and out; and his BO ..... But most importantly - he doesn't steal his special time making fix it lists over coffee and cake with Lorelai.

I hope this sides business wasn't just a sporadic fluke.

Oh, I love Luke with April at a town festival. Reminds of the talk he had with Liz back in season four at the Firelight Festival about how their dad used to take he and Liz to the festivals after their mom died.

He's carrying on the tradition and doing what parents do - stuff they don't much care for but their kid wants to do it. I would though love to see a moment when Lorelai lays eyes on the bracelet Luke is wearing - that should be a good expression.The "old softy" wearing a bracelet his daughter made him...sweet.

Scene 4 - Day 1 - April has given Luke a bracelet. April tells Luke that the Apache used to put little pieces of something on their arrows to they'd aim more true. Luke tells April that it's sweet and thanks her. She tells him to put it on and, not wanting to hurt her feelings, he does. April says it's fabulous. Luke agrees. They admire the bracelet.

I think the bracelet will 'aim' Luke toward Lorelai again.

Well, back in the horrible AVV last year, there was the headline in the newspaper about how a teen helps people find their way - or something or other? Anyone recall that headline? At the time, there was speculation that April might be involved in bringing them to one another again. I Just can't remember the exact headline.

BTW, the 7.18 sides help make sense of all those hay bales outside Lorelai's house, by the chuppah (seen in some latest tour pics), though it's a bit early for filming that.

I remember that (not what it said). I'll be extremely impressed if the writers related to it. And I do hope, as Cheryl also specced, that April points LL towards each other again, though 7.18 is a bit late, IMO, unless there's a season eight or a significant time skip.

We only know tiny tidbits about upcoming episodes so I'm hoping there will be L/L interaction we know nothing about - not anything romantic necessarily but tiny steps towards their friendship and perhaps it will be 7.18 that will signal the beginning of their romance. I hope something in 7.17 before hiatus will have something that indicates that is coming.

I think Lorelai will find it hard to walk into the diner, given everything that has happened so I'm still hoping for the scenario where L/L run into each other outside maybe near the market or close to the diner and after talking a few seconds, Luke asks if she wants to come in for some coffee - and she accepts and they walk into the diner together - I think that would take some of the sting off walking in alone.

There has to be something in ep. 17 that keeps people coming in. The road trip has to provide the girls time to think about things. The point of looking back in most shows is to have those memories trigger something in the present. Maybe it allow Rory to think about Logan and what she wants in life and other things while he's off in Vegas, Lorelai will probably be reflecting on her life and being alone and everying. And hopefully all three GGs will gain better understandings of eachother, (sounds like too much to ask for, though). But that ep has to end with something that'll actually draw people back in after another uber-long break. And I don't think any side SL, like Lane going into labor, is going to do it. But an ending for LL like 2.04 and/or 3.01. That would really start moving things along.

I'm wondering what, if anything, will happen with LL between eps. 15-18. There's no sign of anything. But just the four eps after these is not enough time at all to get anything more than a ridiculous finale makeup kiss. In order for us to get LL back as a couple for even just one full episode, they need to be making some progress in their friendship in the eps we already have spoilers for.

We know virtually nothing about the upcoming episodes other than a broad overview. We already know that there is at least a wave between L/L coming up, I'm guessing there may be other small moments. There is sooo much unknown.

Maybe after Lorelai returns from her Gilmore Girls outing, she will head to the diner - and that will be the cliffhanger for hiatus. We may see her actually go in and them greet each other - or she'll go in, sit at the counter and he will silently fill a cup of coffee for her....who knows. It does seem like something like that might need to happen if they want to imply they will be getting together again - in some - either as friends or lovers.

Perhaps the road trip ends with Rory answering Logan proposal. I think that is going to play into the spring hiatus cliffhanger. Like, I think that is going to be the main thing. I am not sure why I think that, but I do.
