Perhaps during the scotch talk? I don't think she needs to know quite as much as Rory ended up knowing. But some of it might help her really let go of Chris as a romantic partner for Lorelai. That her assessment of him as weak is correct, but his class by birth does not give him a pass. Logan's showing you can be to the manor born and a good, dependable when needed, guy as well. But I think some of what happened then might be appropriate to discuss then. Lorelai knows Emily & Richard had accepted Luke, however grudgingly. I think letting Emily into her life a little might help pave the road to their accepting her choices in the future.

Correct, but I believe they only started filming 7.17 on Tuesday.

Even though the numbers are what they were for 7.2 - they are now up against AI and in past seasons, the ratings dipped when AI came roaring back...so, while the numbers are still below last year's numbers, it seems they have not lost any due to AI.

lemon tart well I don't know if Emily needs to know everything but right now she probably thinks Luke left Lorelai and I think she needs to know it was the other way, maybe not that she went to Chris but I think Emily already knows he played some part.

Also for Gil doesn't it make more sense that he's in 16 with Lane's baby shower, and with the delay at getting the news posted then maybe it was last week shooting and not this week.

Mag13 what a dream if Bono did a guest spot, Lauren (and Lorelai) would be all over him, hey he could be Lorelai's new rebound guy from Chris LOL

I think the "tipping" perception came from the "keep the change". She probably didn't realize that it could be taken that way, but it was a bit like tipping, IMO.

Remember the interview from the Summer TCA, where Lauren spoiled that she was gonna introduce Sting/Bono/Bruce Springsteen ("why are all my musical references from the '80s?") on Studio 60?

Speaking of which, did Studio 60 get renewed yet?

Bono would be a big name but I'd think something would have leaked by now.

As for S60, with it taking a break in March and no return date set it's not looking good at this time for a 2nd season.

You know what I think it is? Seeing what a grown up the adorable baby is, these days. Just a thought. Also, I really like the idea of them reminiscing. It is the part of the girls life that Emily has been pretty much totally excluded from. It is nice that she may be included (and will let herself be), at last. *crosses fingers*

Re the spoiler about Luke being asked to be the twin's godfather, could be a nice way for Luke and Lorelai to spend some time together, post Chris moving out, if they had a ceremony Lorelai would be invited to it. Based on the scene with Doula, babies bring out something nice and soft between them.
