Probably the "boat trip" is indeed Lane's bed pulled by Luke's boat trailer. And maybe that's why Zach ends up asking Luke to be the Godfather of one of his sons.

And I really wouldn't care if Mia dies, her character was in one episode only and for my taste she was too sugared. Moreover, I'll never forget Emily's comment that was sth. like "I would've wanted someone to send her home". Makes me hope that Lorelai maybe will learn about the Em and Mia meeting for the first time and Emily saying something about the pictures Mia send her (If she did)

I agree with you about Mia. She was fine in concept, but way too sugary onscreen.

Maybe. But I am only using his words. And I don't think my glasses are very rosey, considering I will be surprised to see any more than a tentative reconciliation between LL by the end of season. Whether it is the last season or not. (And mostly, it is NOT LL fans saying that Chris is the one that did the leaving.)

Wow, I don't understand your determination to make people mad.

Christopher was never written as the guy Lorelai was meant to be with. He was that guy who was just never quite right for her. They just didn't quite fit. It's like a dress that is really nice, but it doesn't fit and in order to make it work you have to make all sorts of alterations and it's not the same dress anymore and frankly just isn't as nice.

Sorry, but I've to disagree. I know there've already been many discussions about soulmates and stuff and imo, if anyone is a soulmate of Lorelai it's Chistopher as Luke and Lorelai have nothing in common on any base. In real life their relarionshop would be a no go and as I'm no fan of set up, rosy plots just ot satisfy fans, I'll always have the opinion that Chris is way way way better choose for Lorelai than burger boy.

Still, I'll always vote for a third guy to show up, the one who's really the real one for Lorelai. The stache to her pearls.

My title suggestion: Bring on the scotch, bring back the girls
