And real. Their relationship came off as so completely authentic to me. There were few romantic gestures between them but their interactions had true love written all over the place. Love them.

Also, MC was incredible as always. He's definitely one of the better actors on this show.

I just think I'm on the edge of wanting Luke to move on, this is not the same Lorelai we had for the first 5.5 season, I just hope that changes in the next few weeks!

good episode - I actually watched it
Luke was hardly in it - and when he was it felt somewhat natural unlike Lorelai who seemed to have something up her behind the entire time
How she puts up with Chris is beyond me - divorce the bastard
Emily was Emily in crisis mode which made sense
although her disbain for Luke was not needed
Luke helping out made sense because of what Lorelai did for him with April

I also feel DSR has waisted most of the season, 13 eps down and still no sign that Chris is going, I know the spoilers say he's out in 15 but the ep descriptions are a worry, maybe they dont divorce but separate, he goes off to Paris to think or something! I just makes me sick to think of what might have been if L&L had only talked at the end of ep 2 and Luke had not got it into his head he was not right for Lorelai.

The season so far for me has been and almost total waste of time!

ETA - wow thanks Callalily so is it Lorelai hiding?

i agree she was so off tonight it was not even funny - its like she has become a stepford wife in a bad way
