Tell that to the husband who goes MIA for 24 hours, completely unavailable to his wife, daughter, and in-laws at a time when he should be.
Tell that to the guy who's going to disappear from seeing some 'scene' at the hospital that he can't handle, and disappears again for TWO days, again making himself completely unavailable to his WIFE, still during a time of critical need (major cardiac surgery takes a good while to recover...weeks).

The BEING THERE part of the marriage isn't something that's resonating for Christopher even though I'm sure part of it's in the marriage contract.

The saying goes..."In SICKNESS and in health..."

Even if they had an awful fight in which he learned he may have been Lorelai's 'second choice...' a person who is married doesn't make that an excuse to abandon their partner like Chris will be doing. If he wanted OUT, he should have asked for it before walking out on Lorelai in 7.12. If he WANTS IN, which he possibly does in 7.14, he should NOT have stormed off like he did in the first place. However, it seems like Christopher is not mature enough to know what's acceptable behaviour after you fight with your wife.

You can leave the house angrily. You can spend the night walking the streets or going to a bar, coming home late in the morning and sleeping on the couch. You can KEEP YOUR CELL PHONE ON and answer phone calls so your wife knows you're around.

Craig- Motion to change my vote on Poll #2 (Diner poll)

Also motion that answer to Poll #1 will be C coupled with A. As in, he's moody and upset over the fight so he's not answering his calls, so he doesn't know, and Lorelai can't contact him. But he finally checks his messages, though who knows when, and then shows up soon after finding out.

Stephanie I updated the polls, and have included A, C and E as to some extent they are all covered until we see the ep and the whole story. Who knows maybe he got picked up for DWI and spent the night in the local lock up? LOL

I also updated the Diner poll and IMO it might be after the official break up with Chris so ep 15.

I'm not voting or anything; but if I understood my tourguide right (and if he had it right), Lorelai won't go to the Diner in 715. I am not sure about it, though (I'm not sure if the tourguide was sure about it).

Well looking at the episode description there isn't really time for her to go into the diner.

What about the teaser?

lorelaisgirl didn't the tour guide say Lauren was not shooting a scene in the diner the day you were there, so what of the other days?

I'm still clinging to hope that maybe Lorelai goes to Luke's in this weeks teaser, do we have any idea what the teaser could be? We think Lorelai will get the call very early in the ep, we know Rory is with Richard so it's unlikely she will be in the teaser. Chris is MIA and Lorelai is alone so maybe she goes to Luke's and gets the call there. Remember unless they go completely weird with the time line there with be next to no time for the teaser.

Why is there no time in ep 15 for a quick visit to the diner, I do agree it will be big but does that mean it will be in the ep description?

So my SPEC is the teaser will be Lorelai, the question is just where will she be.

Well Lorelai would probably most likely be at work when Richard had his heart attack so I'd be leaning towards her being at the Dragonfly Inn. I have no idea what's in the teaser but I wouldn't be surprised if it shows all three Gilmores where they were at the time of hearing Richard's heart attack. Rory's covered, Lorelai was probably at work and we know Emily was somewhere gym related, etc.

All I know is since the majority of the episode is set in the hospital they'd only be a handful of scenes that aren't in the hospital.

But wouldn't Lorelai be dress better if she was at work and not in jeans, if you look at the pic and TV promos she's wearing just one set of clothes which is to casual IMO for working at the DFI, even if she is the boss.

OT - the song in the promo for 7.13, could it be "How Does It Feel" by either AVRIL LAVIGNE or SUGARCULT?

I'm trying to find a copy now...
