If anything got Rory thinking and working towards her future, that's Paris. And it happened last episode. That's always been Paris's job apparently.

Capa, thank Athena that the people who write the show (Amy, Dan, Dave, and the GGWT) disagree with you so much. It's kind of shocking.

Now, I am not going to rip that post apart. Nah, I will let everyone else go all out on that one. It is your uninformed opinion about a character that you hardly care about...yo. I care about Rory. Her storyline has always meant the most to me. However, I would not parade around knowledge of something that I do not really like since that would be weird.

So, you do not care about Rory, but you care enough to make baseless claims against Rory's best relationship? Huh? How does that work? Again, entitled, but you do not care. Why even waste the time acting as if you do?

Cappuccio, I'm confused by that post you're quoting, where is it from? I've read all of this thread and the previous one, and don't remember reading that one. Especially since FF doesn't allow spoilers to be discussed outside of this forum. I guess it could be from the L/L thread, since I don't bother to read it.

Given the way every relationship on the show has been ridiculed or critisized in here (including by me), I doubt there will be a need for anyone to shoot you. I think Babette/Morey have generally escaped critisim, but all others have been fair game.

I love watching when spoilers we have been given sometimes even months in advance unfold on screen. Spoilers have really made watching more fun for me - so thanks again to you guys who bring that info over here. I much appreciate it.

You're "rooting" for them because you think it will screw with people's heads who you don't like. Plain and simple. All the rest of that stuff is garbage because for every one thing you "say" Logan did *to* Rory, I can name you a thing that he did for her. One big thing.... Got her away from that adulterer Dean!

Furthermore, you have a very low opinion of women. For instance, Rory appears to not be responsible for her own actions. A man brought her down and now she must be put right by another man.

I am stating an uninformed opinion.

Going on about how much Rory and Logan suck. While stating that you could care less about Rory and by proxy Logan. Represents to me an UNINFORMED OPINION about a part of this show. Again, everyone is entitled, and I am not stating that Capa is wrong.

Again, if you want to discuss something, but state you really do not care about it. How exactly is that as an informed opinion about something one likes such as Luscious and Licorice? You are simply trying to continue antagonism Shanti. Which is something that you seemingly enjoy doing.

GG discussion starts at 11:11

MA thought it was terrible, the worst of the season. MA summarized the episode. Angel pointed out that there was a lot of Sookie. Both MA and Angel thought the ep was very forced. MA and Angel thought it was ridiculous that Chris thought it was a love letter. They all thought it was very character-referency. Angel said they were just looking for an excuse to get L/C at odds. MA thought Chris looked very petty. They thought Chris getting mad about the coffee was dumb. MA felt Amy's absence. They noted the lack of pop culture references and the slowness of the plot. Angel liked Sookie and Lorelai together. MA noted that the scene (in the square) was one shot that lasted 10 minutes, and that must have been hard to do. They laughed about MA was finally noticing cinematography. Then they talked a bit about directors.

Letter from "Susie" who agreed with what they said last week about Chris coming off as sleazy, and that he couldn't be mad about being a rebound because of sleeping with her in Partings. They agreed, and Angel pointed out that he pushed for them to get married. There were a couple of letters related to the LG producer news. One was positive and the other was negative. One letter pointed out that Bledel's star will fade post-GG. Podcasters said that didn't matter because she is younger. MA said that the producer credit is only about opening the door to negotiations for next season. MA mentioned his LG interview where she talked about wanting to produce but if she asked, they'd would say how about a season 8.

I have a low opinion about women but you in the same post state that Logan got her away from Dean. Is that any better ? If I remember that scene correctly Dean was the one you got into his car and left her standing in front of the mansion because he saw that he had no place in Rory's life anymore. She would have gone with him without saying a word. It was Dean who took himself out of the picture like he did in season 3 when Rory didn't have the guts to dump him for Jess.

If someone watches something, and based on what they see they decide they don't like it, then that's an informed opinion. If they didn't watch it and threw out an unfavorable (or even favorable) opinion about it, then that'd be uniformed because they'd have nothing to base it on.

I have no idea if Cappucino watches Rory & Logan or not, but if she does and she's basing her opinion on what she's seen, then it is an informed one. Maybe not one everyone agrees with, but it's based on her own view(ing) of it.

Oh, one thing someone pointed out to me. Beginning this past Monday Neilson began to try to collect data on college students, living away from home. The pool is apparently small, but it should reflect in that 18-34 number.

ETA ~ It's college kids living away from home from families that are already Neilson viewers. VM also saw a bump in the demos. I'm surprised MW didn't mention that, since it's a new development.

I watch the entire episode at least once. When I watch episodes twice or more I skip parts I don't find interesting or worth watching twice. So I'm not so familiar with every single thing Rory or Logan did on the show or can quote stuff without looking it up. My preference lies on Luke and Lorelai but I think that's not a real shocker here.

Rory was already showing an interest in Logan at that point, and Dean could certainly sense she wasn't on the good ship Forrester anymore. So, yes, Logan helped get Rory away from Dean but he certainly didn't make Rory take the internship with his father, not measure up well, bail out of school, not talk to Lorelai, or make any of the other boneheaded decisions she made. She has to be responsible for something. Hopefully, she will be responsible for whatever next step she takes in her professional life and not simply be a cipher for some man who winks at her.

She wants to start a fight. That's what she wants. It's very, very transparent. So, I'm hoping she does so she can be banned.
