Let me get this right. You plead for people to take it to PM. When everyone damn well knows that YOU...AND YOU ALONE...did not show me the same courtesy. I have not even received an apology for one of the funniest and spot on ROLLBACK pricing comedy bits in the history of the world...:tear:. Huh. Isnt that a kiwinky dink. Nevertheless, Emily accepting Luke should go hand and hand with Stache and Em finally accepting who their daughter is and has always been. He represents everything that child from fine breeding should never love, but sometimes they do. She loves him. He loves her. If love does not set Emily and Stache straight. I have no idea what will...maybe macromae. It sure does set me free.

Thank you! That's what I was trying to say...but couldn't make sense of it.

ETA: Sorry for being the creepy poster that was on FF ALL day today. I'm sick in bed and BORED out of my mind. I watched Go Bulldogs! again -- that's how bored I am.

Emily and Richard already showed that they accepted Luke as Lorelai's partner last season, when they wanted to buy them a house in Stars Hollow and even bribing Taylor and Emily wanting to meet April. So, accepting Lorelai's choices, is nothing new IMO, they already did that in the past.
They didn't say much when LL broke up and were fine with L/C's marriage. Emily always wanted her daughter to be happy, there are just different ways to achieve that happiness and Emily and Lorelai just not always saw eye to eye what happiness really means. Now it's going to be interesting to see how Emily will react when Lorelai tells her the news of her failed marriage with Chris, I just hope it's still news to Emily and nobody told her before, but otherwise Emily would already be angry with Lorelai.
Emily's fear is that Lorelai will end up all alone and that's something that she doesn't want for her daughter. So will she try to convince Lorelai to give Chris and the marriage another chance, because people give up to easily or is will Emily see that Lorelai's heart was never fully into the marriage because she still has some feelings for Luke. Either way, Emily and Lorelai drunk is something worth to see. Any maybe Emily won’t be happy with Lorelai’s choice at first, but she’s going to accept it, like before and is just happy that finally her daughter told her the “big news” first and was honest with her, even it takes a bottle scotch to do so.

No kidding...but I did notice Livin' On a Prayer this time...which was pretty funny. Those guys are actually really good.

I desperately want to watch F&S but my sister wouldn't let me take the first two seasons back to school with me...anyone know somwhere I can find this episode online?

it was about 20-25 post a day now it's more like 50 and on days the eps air it's more like 100, is there a patch or pill I can take

I got a new card for the camera and can take 500 photos! It used to be a case of bringing enough film, now it's do I have enough batteries!

Should be pretty quite here tomorrow right, being the weekend. We just got the last sides info so no more until maybe the end of next week.

Thanks for the podcast transcript, 2ggobsessed. A fine job indeed.

I don't agree with the podcast people. It didn't feel like the worst episode this season to me. And IMO there were definitely ASPesque sounds to it: the teaser, Sookie & Lorelai, Paris & Rory. Of course that whole "level" thing, an inanimate object getting a major theme of its own as if it were of the same caliber as the rocket, Henry, blue cap, chuppah or Birkin bag, was pretty silly to me. It had some major magnetic powers, too, miraculously leading Chris straight to the letter. That was definitely NOT ASPesque, not even ASPish.

Nope, it wasn't.
But ASP had her own silly moments too and MA should know that. 7.12 wasn't one of the worse episode so far; I actually liked it - not as much as 7.11 but I did like it - and it felt quick and witty, unlikely other eps this year.
As someone pointed out on the JJ thread: MA must be smad because he go a foiler (the one about LL gettin' married and having a baby within' the next 9 eps

) or because of some other reason we'll soon find out.

For some reason I have pictured Emily not frawning, not making a single expression of disapproval on her face. She and Richard were happy about the marriage, but Emily knows her daughter a lot more than we might think: she thought Lorelai and Jason didn't look like a couple and well they never did look like one to me, she thought Luke and Lorelai were idiots in season 1 and she mostly wanted the CL thing to happen because there was Rory involved and "it was the right thing to do", not because she thought Chris was right for Lorelai.

One of the scene I loved the most involving Emily was when Trix died and she had found out about the letter. Emily in her night gown drinkin' scotch was priceless. I can see her gettin' the news and ask "no chance of reconciliation?" "no, mum" "oh to hell with this" and she drink the stoch down.

I never thought the fact about Luke having a daughter would come out that way.

But E&R accepted it and in time they will accept Luke again. At least we know he won't be after Richard's Cuban Montecristo's, which he can't use any more.

So does anyone think Richard will change now and what or his business? We know Lorelai helps with stuff in 15 but what about after that?
