I’d like to remind you all that this is the main Gilmore Girls spoiler thread, and as such, posters from various shipper groups are free to post here, so if you see someone saying something that you don’t like about “your” favorite character or couple, don’t start fighting with them on this thread, and don’t go into a Gilmore Girls shipper thread if you don’t like the couple that the shipper thread is for. People are free to criticize upcoming events on Gilmore Girls as they read the upcoming spoilers, but don’t use this thread as a free-for-all to bash any characters or couples that you don’t like, or their fans, or you’ll find that you’ll be deprived of the privilege of reading and speculating about Gilmore Girls spoilers again here. Episode 7.13 - I'd Rather Be In Philadelphia

The CW: RICHARD IS HOSPITALIZED — In the hospital waiting room, Lorelai, Rory and Emily anxiously await word on Richard’s condition. When Logan hears what is happening, he borrows a helicopter to be by Rory’s side, but Lorelai is unable to reach Christopher, who is still angry over their fight the night before. Upset by Emily’s attempt to remain calm by dealing with her social calendar, Lorelai is relieved when Luke shows up unannounced and volunteers to run errands for Emily. Christopher finally arrives to be with Lorelai, but the scene at the hospital is more than he can take.

TV Guide.com: While Lorelai, Rory and Emily wait at the hospital for news of Richard's condition, Logan borrows a helicopter so that he can be there with Rory, and Luke arrives to help out and ends up running errands for Emily. Meanwhile, Lorelai cannot reach Christopher, to whom she hasn't talked since he stormed out of the house.

From Ausiello: This episode marks a major turning point in the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher triangle. Apparently, Luke and Christopher choose to deal with Richard's health crisis in very different ways: Luke chooses to run around helping Emily, while Christopher chooses to go off and sulk about a bad fight he had with Lorelai. Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany.

The CW: LORELAI AND CHRISTOPHER CONFRONT THEIR PROBLEMS - Two days after his by-pass surgery, Richard is on the road to recovery, and Rory returns to Yale, where she finds that Richard's economics class is now being taught by an attractive young professor, Tucker Culbertson (guest star Cameron Bender), who flusters Rory with his charm. While Lorelai (Lauren Graham) tries to distract herself from the issues in her marriage, she and Sookie focus on planning a funeral for one of Michel's beloved dogs. Finally, Christopher returns ready to talk, and he and Lorelai discuss the main problem that has haunted their marriage - Lorelai's feelings for Luke (Scott Patterson. Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil and Matt Czuchry also star.)

TV Guide: While Richard recuperates from surgery, a new professor (Cameron Bender) takes his place and steals Rory's heart with his charming ways. Meanwhile, Lorelai finds ways to avoid facing her problems with Christopher, including planning a funeral for one of Michel's departed dogs. But Christopher returns home and they discuss Lorelai's feelings for Luke.

Lorelai enlists Sookie to bring Richard healthy but delicious meals, then helps Emily organize Richard’s business affairs. Over a shared bottle of scotch, Lorelai finally tells her mother about the breakup of her marriage. Rory attends an awkward birthday dinner for Logan with Mitchum Huntzberger (guest star Gregg Henry), who asks her to help him steer Logan in the right direction. Later, Logan receives disturbing news about the online company he purchased. Finally, Luke shares his home with Liz, T.J. and their baby daughter while their house is being fumigated. Liza Weil and Sean Gunn also star.

I have no idea what input Lauren Graham has into storyline choices, but i do know that Amy Sherman-Palladino set up David Sutcliff for an "A" storyline this year, not Lauren.

I am so excited about these upcoming episodes - actual things happening! Helicopters! Death bed confessions!! Adios Chris!!!

Thanks caf. Also, do not assume my motives. Since, we all know, that when you do. You usually assume wrong. I asked a question. However, thanks clmorrow, for proving the old adage right again. What you assume I am doing. You are actually doing, and I found your response highly insulting.

Nice thread title...VICTORY IS MINE! BRUHAHAHAHAHAhAhA! Everyone needs a good bruhahahaha every now and again. However, Luke, apparently is Ghandi now. I am sorry caf, but it is not inaccurate in this case. How many niceties have Luke and Lorelai have as of late? Again, many JJ and LL fans, seem to bring up their past as if it's relevant to them now. When it's not. They have not had a lot of niceties between them for months. It's only logical that Luke would want to do something for Lorelai in lue of that letter. It's only human. Now, if you assume, that Luke is not human. Those are some very heightened views of human and robotic love.

ETA: Yes, ASP decided to make Chris a part of LAUREN'S STORYLINE. If you assume or expect that she would have written it the sameway as Dave and the GGWT. I will simply disagree with you with that sentiment. Lauren has everything revolving around her. If Scott is also holding out with KAB. I do not blame them for their stance. Numbers 2 and 3 in the credit DESERVE as much respect as she does or titles as she does. This is not a Michael Chiklis situation. This is an ensemble show, that now has one of the leads as a producer. A producer whose credit is either last or almost last after established writers and producers.

Again, Lauren is not evil for this, but she is not Spider-Man. She wants this power. She wants to have this power with her own shows. I am not knocking her planning out her future. However, it's obvious, that everything revolves around her now. Something, as a fan of KAB and MATT and EVERYONE ELSE, I have a problem with.

Finally, yes, Chris is gone forever Sure. He may no longer be a love interest, but he's Rory's dad. You once again forget this. Apparently a dad who was neglectful but not EVIL is no dad at all. Who knew?

I think it's probably a little of both. He might feel he owes her big time for the letter, but helping out is something he would do no matter what.

Damsel, why are we even having this argument? Seriously. Why was Luke so foulable last season and during the summer, but now is a saint? Really? Again, what I have stated, is not an insult to the character of Luke. Few other people in this thread have ever defended Luke as much I have. So, why you guys are questioning me, and making me out as implying Luke has some alteriour motives...is beyond me. People do solids for people. Who have done solids for them. That's reciprocity...yo.

ETA: Mag, outside of you obviously trolling for a flame war by bashing Kim. That title is about EVERYONE not named LAUREN or SCOTT. If you did not get that at first without insulting one of the stars of this show. Well, that's on yo homie.

So, Alexis should have C storylines? If so, why does the show need her for Season 8? She would be very dispensible. GG does need her for season 8. The show you have in mind doesn't.
