i won't believe that L/L will be believeably (sp) written back together if so Luke should run away = end this show end it this year

LG has ruined it for me
Nst, are you serious with the above? I know I of all people -- the Greg House of this board -- should never even have the audacity to ask this question. However, is that a sincere response? Since it seems to stem from a reality that the show does not represent.

The most difficult times I have in this trend...stem from post such as the above. Maybe I am too damn sincere for my own damn good. Maybe I am too loyal and emotionally attached to the show. Maybe I am more human than human or merely an alien cyborg parading as a human. Maybe I am actually a Fernando Alonzo. Maybe I am actually Chan Marshall? That would be cool.

Whateverthecase, no one gets dragged down to anyone's level on this show. Chris is not a loser. HE's not a stand-up guy. Genetically and evolutionarily (not a word but it should be)...women are not big fans of the NON STAND-UP GUY. Since, intrinsically to your gender, is a need to have a guy care and provide for you. Yes, this has evolved over time to be a myrriad of different things, but it's a fundamental thing. This could explain why so many see Chris as a LOSER. When really, to your gender, he's not the type of guy you would want to have kids with...yes I do have an anthropology degree...sort of.

So, this leaves us, with Lorelai being a big girl. Who made BIG GIRL choices. Chris is not a drug. He is not a drug taker. If he and Lorelai had a co-dependency issue, then it is highly possibly he could have DRUG HER DOWN TO HIS LEVEL. However, he's a man, she's a woman, and they have a history. A history that has led to this marriage. A history that led to Lorelai waiting a few weeks to even consider doing anything with the man she has known for well over TWO DECADES. That's a lot of time. A lot of time that gives these two a past.

A past that makes this story worth telling. A past that negates a GROWN WOMAN being drug down to LOSERDOM. You are a woman. You folks should ROAR more, and not blame male characters for female character decisions. As always, dowatchalike, but please do show in a dignified manner.

Finally, Tara, very nice negotiating in the last thread. You've got good heart kid. Curly, thank you for the promotional materials, and you still hate Logan? Huh. I guess NOT and I are the only reformed Logan haters around here. Finally, next week, I will hopefully be doing clips. I will make them the MID-RES version. So you can go to BABS for the HI-RES. However, again, Athena willing, they should be available right after the episode...yo.

I do agree. Lorelai is accountable for her actions; Christopher did not drag her to the altar. (Was there an altar? I've pushed all those thoughts so far away). I also don't completely blame him for not stopping himself from marrying/being with her even though he knew, subconsciously, he was her second choice. Worse things have happened. And in all honesty, the whole thing makes me wonder how many married couples -- just like CL -- are out there and have lasted. That's not to say that I think Lorelai's in love with Christopher or is meant to be with him by ANY means, I just think there are a lot of people out there who have settled for their second choice, and their partner knows it, but denial wins out and whatever kind of love they have is what they make do with. So I can't hate Christopher for trying to push away negative thoughts, especially when Lorelai has given him little reason to think she doesn't want to be married to him. I'll always think he made a trashy move in Partings, but his interest in this marraige is genuine. And under the same idea, I can't hate Lorelai for wanting to be married to Christopher, even though she knows she's still in love with Luke. Sometimes in life, you feel like you have no choice but to settle.

So no one holds more blame than the other, IMO, but now that the truth is beginning to reveal itself IE Lorelai's true feelings, it's time for this marraige to be over. There's a potential for a much, much, much deeper relationship and/or marraige between Luke and Lorelai, and I'm ready to see that unfold.

And Jason, I'm not a kid...I'm legal now!

Hey, Eva, I know it's not quite the 31st there yet, but it is here and definitely is back in the Netherlands so I wanted to wish you a happy birthday.

That has been always my theory... Lorelai finnishing the series as an independent woman and Luke and Lorelai good friends that maybe someday could be back again... sad for LLs fans but something that is Lorelai Gilmore. Well maybe the next week he will say other thing, who can trust Mike Assiello?. I can't.

Anyone know what movie Lorelai was watching when Sookie and Jackson came home? I thought I heard something about Capone, and dice?

I wondered if it was anvil or filler?

Good post Tara Ashley

The SPEC (god I hope it's spec) I hate is Luke moves to MN at the end of the season to be closer to April. Now would Lorelai run away with him, leave her town and family and move 1000s of miles away to be with the man she loves? Now this could be a fitting end to the series, didn't Lorelai says "when we're married we've got to move" when they couldn't get into Dooses in NAIL! Or the other option. Is she doesn't move and we get the Luke and April spin off, set in MN. A town that looks a lot like Stars Hollow. LOL

"Franklin, I think we have a situation with the donkeys." "No, not the donkeys."

Melodie, you know that little thing House has about being brutally honest? I have that...in spades. Accursed genetics with them spades! Imagine a personality that is a hybrid of HOUSE and Luke, and you have some idea why I am such a wanker...! And why was I ? I think a little bit of the blunt force trama was to blame.

That aside, Tara, you are the KID. That's your nickname. Under section 15 of the code of Berman...you can ask for a new nickname after a six-week probabtion period. If the council of Sebben, Sebben, Sebben, and Sebben accepts your replacement. You will be able to go through that nickname until 12 weeks later. When Jerry P. Deer will review your case, and make a decision. Bureacracy...IT'S FANTASTIC!

Finally, here's the deal with my clips. IF you want to see the episode after it airs in the central time zone with commericials (Yes, you will get to see Captain D's commercials at the end of the clips. It gives them FLAVOUR!). Come check out my clips. If you want quality stuff to do with what you please...go to Babs. I will simply do my damnest via the power of a MEDIA CENTRE to get them up as quickly as possible. So, they may not look great, they will have commercials at the end of them, but they will be the episode. So say we all...yo.

LORELAI could move to Paris but if she is going to live in US for the rest of her life she will be in SH. If Luke is moving to New Mexico he will go there alone (thing that makes sense because he should want to live near to his daughter)

Well according to Lorelai he must be a good father figure

I don't know if I like them being split up at the end of the series since for the majority of fans want L&L together in some form. I just hope it happen.

What they might do is have Luke move for the summer, if we get S8 then back to the diner and life goes on L&L get closer again, winter wedding, baby news in 08 winding in May with the birth. Mean while Rory is in NYC most of the time, calling home and dropping by in time for sweeps.
