However, again, outside of the prisms of wants and desires for the character Lauren plays. She clearly -- obviously -- is much more touchy feely with David then she has been with Scott for quite some time.

LOL, I do tend to agree. I posted a couple of weeks ago about KAB and the pulling back and how that had long distracted me from really falling for a couple I really liked on paper. I've liked the verbal sparring dynamic of R/L since they met, (the part of L/L that I liked in earlier seasons as well) but couldn't quite climb on them as a romantic ship. But that's all gone, has been since the last few episodes of last season. I suspect her not having a bf in RL anymore let KAB be more comfortable with MC on screen. I have no complaints about the little bits of intimacy they're allowed to show on screen anymore. But she really has sold Rory's love for Logan since the end of last season, which has translated well, I think, as far as them as a couple goes.

I'm sure L/L shippers will, as you say, see what they want to see. We all do it. I tend to think of the ESH porch kiss, which I don't think is anymore intimate than the various L/C kisses, but always expect to be a scorcher after I read L/L shippers talking about it. I just don't see it, it comes off as easily familiar, to me, not Lorelai wanting to drag Luke inside and rip his clothes off. But then I guess I always judge on screen kissing against the J/A kissing on Farscape, and nothing compares to that.

It's not a description of the C/L breakup, it's a description of Chris finding the letter and the fight that follows.

While I still think Lorelai will be the one to break up - if only to provide some rationale for her 'journey' - I must say, whoever breaks up and however they break up - if Lorelai ever regrets writing that letter, then she really will pass the point of no return. Forget about an eighth season, it's doubtful that 80 seasons would be enough.

She might regret hiding it, she might regret any number of things, no one really knows the point of this 'journey'. But if she ever regrets writing the letter that apparently tilts the balance to persuade a judge to ever let Luke and his child see each other again.....

At any rate, we can't make a fair comparison using L/L under ASP's direction, and L/C under DR's direction. We'll have to wait until we have L/L under DR's direction, and then judge.

I wanna wait for L/L to reunite when DR is directing though: I hope we'll get all those make out scene we were waiting during ASP dictatorship

However, L/C is more touchy/feely.

Lauren said in an interview that she'd questioned ASP's directing with the lack of physical contact between Luke and Lorelai, and said she had to play it the way ASP wanted it.

The true test will be when Luke and Lorelai get back together, with DR at the wheel.

Finally, Sandlynn, you may hate Luke too much to really get that his character is not undergoing ANY changes. Luke never had an edge. The only reason he came across as guarded and gruff. Stemed from years of people dying and people leaving him, that led to a shell growing around him. April is FINALLY letting LUKE be LUKE without all the ANGST. Again, if you see Luke as a one-dimensonsal jackass, and refuse to extend yourself past that first impression. Well, you are missing the heart of the Luke character, and to why Luke goes off in those clips. This is a LUKE set free from GRIEF and LOSS. This is a LUKE that FIGHTS. That's what Luke has always been about...but now he's fighting for her and eventually her. Luke was never Lord Humungus. If you assumed he was, then you assumed incorrectly. Since I do not recall Luke ever declaring himself as the AYLATOLLAH OF ROCK N ROLLA!

Yeah, the Max scenes were hot. Although, when I re-watched S1, they weren't as hot as I remembered.

The first time that Veronica Mars and Logan Echolls kissed, in season 1, my heart skipped a bit and I was fallin' off the chair. Is one of the most deep and passionate kiss I have ever seen on a tv show in a long time. The only one maybe as good as that - or even better but because I had been waiting seven season for that - was Josh and Donnie kissing in TTW.

I haven't watched Farscape, or S1 of VM. However, Veronica and Logan kissing last week was very passionate, more than C/L or L/L.

R/L were the only bright spot in Partings for me. AB's acting was very good in that ep.

Same with MC this season. He has that strong masculine quality that I see in SP. I love it when his voice goes deep. (fans self).

I think the hotness I see in the L/L kisses has to do with SP. It doesn't matter what LG is doing, SP always sells it, imo.
