The fifth seat is for 7.16, these new sides are for 7.17

Ok, thanks for clearing that up...

Could it be something for the DAR or maybe Rory's new job at the New York Times?

Didn't the post say everything was covered in sheets and the mansion didn't look like it had been used for a while? They're filming 7.16 now, so the 5th chair could be from an earlier ep, and maybe even from tonight's FND.

That's right. The table was not set, sheets were covering the furniture (except for Rory's, Lorelai's and Mystery Guest's chairs).

There were no shooting dates with the super secret call sheet, were there?

I wouldn't classify Lorelai, or anyone she dated, as young.

Any character being set up with Lorelai would have an actual name instead of 'Young Male Guest'.

Welcome, Mirella! Have fun!

The set up in the dining room could've been from an earlier episode, even this 7.12 one. We've heard they don't clear sets until they're needed again.

But, I'm hoping it was used a few times since tonight's episode. Nothing like a nice FND for a Tuesday night.

Except for the person she "casually dated" in Run Away, Little Boy (season 2)

It was WAY TOO LONG! And I've thought all season that Lauren Graham's acting choices are undermining the entire idea of L/L. The way she touches Chris in this and the promo clip when they're fighting, on his stomach, is so familiar/intimate. She never touched Luke like that. It's not just words, and ILYs, it's gestures and body language.

Unfortunately, more than likely. Such a freaking waste!

THAT would be HILARIOUS! Now I'll be disappointed if it happens any other way. I don't think Luke will look like Galahad, more chump.

Well maybe Emily has given up on people Lorelai's age and moved on to the next generation

Thanks for the heads up, but I think I can stomach one more "happy family" scene knowing what is to come. and "It's not to late..." from Rory LOL

OT - wow look how close I am to 24k

Or maybe it's the directing choices?
