I think you may be right. And that's depressing. I'm still willing to have a slight hope that there will be one scene between Rory and Richard before the collapse. As a reminder that, hey, Richard is teaching and Yale and Rory is taking his class. I assumed before that we would get this, now I'm thinking probably not. Who knows though. Maybe, time management problems aside, the writers are smart enough to realize that with the amount of Richard at Yale and Richard/Rory stuff we've seen, a reminder of that plot point would be a good thing. Not holding my breath though.

My spec is the fight is near the end, now since Lorelai changes and Sookie is off doing what even requires a babysitter then they are both not at work, maybe it a Saturday. Does YALE have classes on weekends? So the fight is late in the day, Lorelai spends the night along (get used to it crazy lady). Next day Lorelai gets up, Chris didn't come home. She goes looking for him (maybe she tries calling) she ends up at Luke's and then gets the call.

I'm just not sure of the day of the week, if Rory's in class it's more likely during the week (unless there are weekend classes) but why aren't at least one of the ladies at the DFI and where is Sookie off to that needs a baby sitter. Unless it's just a could of hours she she and Jackson can go to the doctor?

Michel could handle the DFI. Sookie is "Skiing". Maybe Sookie and Jackson just want some time off and during that they have their little "snowaccident".

I just don't think Lorelai will be at Luke's when it happens. Why should she go there suddenly? Maybe L/C have their fight Chris storms off, a while later her phone rings, she thinks it Chris who called eventually after she tried to reach him, she doesn't even look at the display, starts a full tirade on Chris only to hear Rory's afraid voice on the phone.

Though why would Luke be at the hospital then? Since Lane doesn't get the twins in this ep, could it just be false alarm and Luke has to drive her?

Thanks for the new promo... I am really really curios what Lorelai will tell Chris other than "What" when he says she should tell him she doesn't love Luke.
If she stays quiet and won't say more than "What" I think that will tell him enough and would explain the desperate ILYs we saw in the other promo
