What ever happened to Rory's other job, the one she got in episode 6.09? Forgotten?

Anything new regarding Lauren/Alexis staying for season 8? The show will be dead to me if the two aren't there together, even if Alexis makes an occasional appearance. The title of the show should be changed if that happens.

Around here, we periodically ask where the SEG went. But that's just us. We're mere viewers. I don't think the show has mentioned it for over a year.

Not a peep from Alexis, at least not in public. I feel sorry for her. Her character isn't the one that was destroyed, she's not responsible for this mess, yet the pressure is on her to go an eighth season.

On the other hand, if this is how they leave one of the girls - as you say, the show was about both.

I hate Lorelai's character in season 7. I feel sorry for Chris, and I hate how everything is going to turn out. All of it.

From everything that we have heard from Lauren over the years, I still don't see her signing on for season 8 without Alexis, no matter what Ausiello says. Granted, I don't know her pseronally, but I can read between the lines in all of her interviews. She also never hid her feelings about the stupid Lorelai/Rory rift in season 6.

I'm really disappointed they are poisoning the Sookie/Jackson relationship - I've liked it since the very beginning and especially the proposal in Tisket a Tasket - too sweet. Why they would do this is beyond me...it's a really ugly thing and I don't much see the comedy in it.

I hated that ASP had Sookie demand the man have the vasectomy in the first place - if something required a discussion it was that - about whether he wanted to choose that option of birth control. And, now this? Jackson has been lying about it for nearly two years and this is funny? Bleah.

I still think the concept of a discussion on this show is iffy. But, really, if Lorelai manages to find her voice for once and finally actually say what she is feeling, then let C/L have a talk - it will be good for her to practice actually talking about her feelings and could serve her well in the future with Luke, Rory, parents.

I don't feel sorry at all for him. He knew he was her No.2 and went along anyway. Now he can't handle it anymore and what does he do - run away. Feeling 16 again Chris ? Or 32 or all the other times you came back and just disappeared again because you couldn't handle not being her No.1. First Rory took that position from him and now he isn't even her No.1 when it comes to the man in her life. Life really is a bitch eh.

I was thinking that since it appears that the show can't possibly do real justice to the whole L/L reunion with the remaining episodes, why not do some kind of huge time jump on the show? At least then it wouldn't seem like Lorelai goes from Chris to Luke too quickly, and it would also give Rory time to adjust. It deprives us of actually seeing the characters interact but it wouldn't be so awkward.

Well, I don´t....hopefully he finally gets what he deserved from S1 on....and I hated how ASP turned Luke into a jerk in S6, so.........

But I TA with you...I still can´t think of a believable or plausible way HOW LL will get back together.....either it will be silly or DR is a miracle worker.......

I hate jerky Luke too. Season 6 was a disaster except for like three episodes.

I'm waiting to find out how Lorelai will be likeable again to me. The assassination of her character has been painful for me.

I finally got around to watching episode 11, and I thought it was well-written, all of it. I actually laughed at the scenes with Gigi, who was so cute. I liked April and Luke together too. Scott seems very much at ease with her and it's sweet. I laughed at the Lane/Zach/Mrs. Kim scenes a lot. But I do have a question. Does Zach have a job that we know of? I have usually fast forwarded thorough his scenes in the past, but he was sweet with Lane, and the dialogue was crisp and witty.

hi all,
woahhh ive missed soo much, well some people knew i had a knee recon well ive just spent the past week in hospital because of an infection and then i moved house & just got net back, and can i tell you when i jumped on fanforum and read all the spoilers i wanted to jump up & down on my bung leg ahahah but i wont do that il just sit here with the biggest smile ever. the preview was the best preview ive ever seen in my life, aww poor chris...NOT.. he knew the whole time lor didnt love him like she loved luke, he should've known from the night she came and slept with him it was a "im sad and i need some comfort" kinda sex but ohwell us L/L fans are finaly getting what we want back..BRING ON SEASON 8 haha

I'm sorry I forgot to type the I into the first sentence. I just saw it. No I don't have a problem with you feeling sorry for him. Sorry if that came accross that way. I feel more sorry for Gigi at that point because he dragged her into that knowing it can only backfire. Same goes for Rory. It's going to be season 2 finale + aftermath all over again. Lorelai has to take the blame as well since she agreed willing to it but Chris at least had a clear head when he went into that relationship. Lorelai was confused, hurt and living in denial and he just used that to get to her and swept her off her feet. He should have known that once she comes back to her senses, lets her feelings get to her or gets confronted by the past and starts to think about it, it would bring trouble and most likely a "boy did we make a mistake or what" moment.
