this storyline was offensive in season 5 and its still offensive. I really wish they would find something else to poke fun of. Isn't it bad enough that we haven't really seen jackson all year and that sookie has been only found in a kitchen.

I'm thinking/hoping, though, that Sarah is right and he only lied for a little bit and when he told her, at a time when she hadn't just had a baby, she was more willing to be ok with him not getting it. Anything else would just be too horrific.

I think Jackson should have had the balls (sorry for the pun) to just do it! or speak to Sookie, I mean he as been hanging around Lorelai too much if he's been lying to a loved one for almost 2 years!

I'm not quite sure what your point is here? It's illogical, but that's not the only illogical thing about the SL and many SLs in GG. And it doesn't justify him lying to her.

I agree, genki. This SL didn't provide enough laughs to justify the offensive nature of it. It really didn't need to be made more offensive. I really hope Sarah's right and Jackson's lie ended long before Sookie got pregnant.

Jackson lying about the operation is not a good thing at all and Sookie should be very angry with him.

I would think that anyone undergoing an operation should have some kind of pain or soreness and should be groggy for a while due to the anesthetic. If they are not showing any of these symptoms, I would be curious as to why.

Sookie knew that Jackson was not keen on getting the operation and if he didn’t show any of these symptoms, she should have questioned him about it. Now if she questioned him and he lied, then that’s almost unforgivable.

He shouldn’t have lied but Sookie also shouldn’t have ignored the obvious signs.

Sookie just had a baby and had a toddler at home. I think she was both too exhausted and too absorbed to notice if Jackson's equipment was paining him. It's not like she would be missing the sex.

It's just a local anesthetic, not a general one, so he would've just been a bit stiff-legged for a few days, using ice packs, and supposedly staying off his feet. If Sookie was in the hospital for a couple of days she might not have noticed anything.

Still, it's pretty irresponsible of Jackson to keep it from her. If that's what he did.

And wouldn't it have been just as funny if the operation just failed, I can see the jokes about "not holding back his manhood" and things like that.

Somehow I don't want to believe that Jackson lied to Sookie. I heard that there is possibilty though that this whole thing can reverse itself, no idea how but it can happen. Also if Jackson would hve lied, wouldn't she be pregnant again already.. I mean Martha must be a year at least now.

Did I miss a spoiler?????? I read in a person's sig "Joyful 7.19 Joyful", it was to do with L/L, do we know for sure they are reuniting in 7.19?????

The answer to your question is no.

That sounds like one of the rumors going around. It's a sig - as you know, people's sigs don't need to reflect confirmed spoilers. Or anything else. Sigs can say what they want, and other posters can chose how to interpret them.

I was just worried that there WAS a confirmed spoiler out there. I know often sigs reflect wishes, but I just wanted to make sure it was not true. I can smile for a bit longer. Even tho I'm not thrilled about the moving out. An L/L reunion is just going to make me so smad tho. I know it will be coming, but the longer it's held off the better.

Christine, you will never ever come close to understanding this, but a person lasering a guy's balls...IS ALSO HORRIFIC. Yeah, he could have said NO, but we are dealing within the realm of this story. In this story, Jackson, went along as if he were a horny animal to get his balls snipped. Luckily, he snapped out of it, and his junk continues to work.

However, stating that Sookie getting pregnant all of a sudden is horrific. Totally negates the point of this silly storyline existing in GG, and it being made for a comedy of errors. Again, it's not a great story, but it's a comedy of errors. Which Sandlynn best explains with her response. She wouldnt be wanting the sex. Thus the crux of the problem. Nevertheless, Christine, men might not have babies, but we do have junk. Messing with our junk in any way. Well, it's just as horrific.
