Deleted post because I thought I knew the song he sang but I don't think I do? I've listened to way too many Christmas medleys...they're all mixed up!

Are you sure, looking at the lyrics (I have the raw CC text) I though it was Angels We Have Heard on High "Gloria, in excelsis Deo!"

Of course it NEVER ONCE mentions Rory in the entire article. Good to know the author views the central question of the Gilmore GIRLS is will LUKE find peace with Lorelai.

I would have thought the show was would Lorelai, Rory & Emily find peace. Silly me!

I don't think it was her idea but she was sold on the sl because she backed it sincerely in the beginning. She wanted to do something different and she wanted to work with DS. I don't think she really thought about what Lorelai would have really done.

I don't think Lorelai ends the relationship because she loves Luke (she does love Luke but because she doesn't think Luke loves her or loved her enough she gave up on that relationship totally before she went with Christopher) . I think she ends it because she thought Christopher had changed and he didn't. He is still immature and irresponsible and she cannot depend on him. She can't lean on him because he offers her no emotional support. She has known him most of her life and she knew all these things about him, but in a weak moment he convinced her that things could work between them. He is not a partner, he is a dependent. She has to work too hard for this relationship and there is no payback. He isn't on her side against her mother anymore. They disagree about where to live, having kids even the kind of tv. He isn't what she thought she was getting. Now this is partly her fault too. They should never have gotten married so soon, they never got to know each other as adults. If they had she would not have married him.

IMO, something MUST happen in the hospital that will make Lorelai realize this silly marriage is over.....maybe what Chrisss sees so pi$$es him off that he´s insulting or yelling at Lorelai, or even Rory....I don´t know, but something must happen, cause when Lorelai tries to reach him all day shows me that she´s still holding on to that farce......

And I wonder why C needs conditioner ?? Not for his head, but maybe for his chest.....

and only apparently DS and just generally act like a whole different character because watching episodes today from s1 the second ep and last night - they are totally different no one can dispute that watch it - you will see - its sad and sickening - and if her only motivation was working with DS this entire time - she needs help because she lacks everything when she works with him - there is nothing there - its like ds is the chalkboard and she is the nails that is how it plays

Maybe she runs into the shrink from Partings and shakes her real hard "What did you do to me!" Maybe Emily paid her to hypnotise Lorelai into liking Chris LOL

Why? The promo seems clear: Chris leaves. Lorelai can't get a hold of him. What makes Lorelai realize she's been dumped could very well be the same thing that made Scarlett O'Hara realize she'd been dumped--Chris leaves!

After reading MA's latest batch of spoilers as it were a few times, what comes to mind is Matt is the only cast member (correct me if I'm wrong) who has so blatantly voiced an opinion on how he thinks his/Rory's SL should end. Lauren hinted at it many seasons ago about Chris/Lorelai S/L & at the TCA just before S7 she defended 6.22 as "good Drama". It's hard (for me anyway) to know when what's coming out of their mouths is theirs or CW. IMO MA has almost said this is the last year & CW is gonna cram in 8 episodes a S/L that should take at least 30.
What should be the highlight of the last year 1. Rory's graduation, 2. L/L wedding complete with chuppah(spl). but I'm a romantic. I'll take what they give me, but, I'm truly disappointed in what has happened to one of the best shows I have ever fell in love with.
