Yeah ILY's are being extremely overused. I remember when I first heard Lorelai say it to Luke I was like woahhhh and the episode he said it to her I was expecting her to say it back but no... And now the sudden "every other sentence ILY" is weird. But no worries all in good time and those ILY's will all be Luke's

But I agree with anyone who said that Lorelai seems to be saying the ILY's in the promo as a way to convince herself more so then Christopher that she "loves" him and doesn't love Luke. What a joke that is. I believe she loves Christopher cause of thier history and the fact that Rory is thier kid but Lorelai is defiantly not "IN love" with Christopher. She was with Luke. (***still is )

Question: Any scoop for Rory and Logan?— Mel K.
Ausiello: Yeah, but it might make you ill. Matt Czuchry thinks Rory and Logan should eventually (yikes!) go their separate ways. "I would love to see Rory single at the end. I just feel like that's the way the show began, with the mother-daughter relationship. It's kind of like Sex and the City with Sarah Jessica Parker and the big question of, 'What is she going to do at the end?' I thought she should have been by herself, because that was the whole through-line of the show. The most important thing for me is that Rory and Lorelai are there together at the end. It should be about the Gilmore girls and them going forward." You know what? As much as I love Logan and Rory, I kinda agree with him.
So what you are saying is that the above information is a new question, with an answer based on something MC said at the beginning of the season? Somehow I don't remember the Sex and the City reference in his original statement. Anyway, why would MA answer that question with old news? That wouldn't be any scoop.

Call it confirmation or repeating his original feeling, I thought it was from a recent interview because it was in MA's most recent column.

The thing with Matt Czuchry's views is just that , this is an actors opinion and has nothing to do with the show. If we thought Lauren had no put then how can Matt?

Ausiello should not have even used it in the AA unless Matt had some inside knowledge of future SLs.

It is weird but I agree with you.
If some actor point of views were going to be taken, those would be Lauren's, and I bet that she would like Lorelai to end married with Chris... then the actors opinions mean nothing.

Assiello said once that Logan had sex with other man, who could believe him?.

Well he total screwed up the BBM spoiler even thought there was a reference to the movie in the same ep so maybe that's what it was?

No actor has a major (or any) say in their character on most shows and the have even less say over others.

OT - was that Bing Crosby singing "I'll Be Home For Christmas" at the end of the ep?

I believe ASP said in an interview that she disliked TV shows that kept the special ILYs, as if they made a relationship work and better. She never made a big deal out of it for Lorelai. We knew she never said it often, but apart from that... Besides, I think she's trying more to convince herself that she is finally in love and that'll it'll last. She overcame the ILY symdrom, but not for the good reasons.

I believe so. I thought the ending was brilliant- very ASP-esque. The very Gilmore Girls-ish song, the snow, the acting. Props to DR.

But that’s why we watch, to see how this saga will end. But more importantly, to see if the writers can tie up all the complicated plot lines to meet our Gilmore standards.

Actually it is not unusal for an actor to know their season long storyarc. They probably wouldn't know any details, but they could very well know the end. He could have been told there was the possibility of Logan and Rory ending up as friends. He then could have framed it as his opinion too. Or maybe it was his idea and the writers thought, hey, sounds good to us.

I just finished watching last night's eppi, and you gotta admit: it was a very cute scene the last one with Rory, Gigi and Chris baking cookies... I'm sorry if I'm hurting your feelings or anything, I don't even know what LC shippers are called, and I'm definetly not on that ship, but I think it was a pretty nice way to end LC and the whole marriage debacle... I just think that they wanted to leave a nice memory before everything starts falling apart...
By the way, I am not surprised AT ALL that KAB wants lo leave, they seem to have NO INTEREST at all in her SL's, the whole "Logan apologized and now we are fine" was just ridiculous...

I think it's absolutely hilarious that Chris is using Lorelai's conditioner. My DH doesn't have much hair since he shaves it down to a few cms. Anyhoo, but for whatever reason he always gets curious enough to open whatever new bottle of conditioner/shampoo/bath stuff and try it to see how it smells. Of course, later then I ask him why he's been using my products since I can smell them on him.

Anyway - that's my little laugh for the day because it seems as if some men have a fascination with all the different products women use. He still doesn't understand why I need shampoo AND conditioner when he just uses soap on his head - the same soap he'd use for his body. Ah - men.

That scene made me sad knowing what Lorelai was doing and what is to come.

Welcome newbie82 great screen name

She may have made her feelings know but I doubt she had any direct input into the SL. But we may never know.

Could be but I hate that he can't say anything direct or may not get another job.

OT - what was the song Chris was trying to sing?

ETA - iamsher I use a shampoo/conditioner combo and in less than a minute I'm done, soap dries out your hair too much.
