IA Christopher knew he was Lorelai's second choice. And he pretty much said that in his speech to her in 7.03 when he says "I know it didn't mean to you what it meant to me". But it was her choice to call him at the end of that episode after he openly declared his love for her. Lorelai wasn't forced: she made decisions.

I think Lorelai tend to send mixed messages to Christopher that lead him to believe their love could be refueled (maybe because she likes to have a back up). She did that in the past. And even in Partings -- and I know some argue that Christopher took advantage of a vulnerable woman - I saw LC scene in the bathroom like one of those moments between them where I see them clearly flirting.

Do I think she have to stay in their marriage because of this? No. But we can't claim she was forced into the relationship.

The guy is just pathetic. He knew he was just her second choice and still he dragged everyone into that mess and puts all the blame on her now because she is not over Luke. Hello is every thing alright up there in that brainless head of his ??? Sorry but he really can sink lower with each episode he is in. The only thing missing is him saying in 7.13 I did all this because I wanted to proof to her, that diner guy and Emily that I was right when I said she will always come back to me.

yeah I'm sorry for gigi too but chris never cared that much for his kids and thought about them first. the more interesting point in that here is that anna once said to lorelai she doenst want her to get friends with april as long as she's not married to luke because what happens if it wont last? well now we have a married couple that is going to fall apart and poor gigi will be upset to lose a family.

the point is anna was way too overprotective while chris never thought about it at all. not even that! he jumped Lorelai while gigi was in the next room. [6.22]

ITA she does look week in the promo, I hope that changes soon! Maybe in ep 15 "I'm a Kayak, Hear Me Roar"?

In theory anyway. I don't see them spending 5 minutes on that. I'm in 2 minds about how devastated the little tyke will be -- last night it was Chris helping her on with her coat, and Chris helping her decorate cookies, and she'll still have him (hopefully) after the divorce.

Anyone else see remnants of the feral hyena last night? From the "that's nice", to grabbing the antlers, and the "yeah" to licking the beaters, (um... yes, please?), there were shades of it there.

ETA: The new DC is up on The CW - there are 2, one with Chris/Lorelai, and another with Luke/Anna at court.

He left Lorelai and went back to Sherry, because she was pregnant with Gigi. He sad himself that he didn’t want to make the same mistakes again, being left out of his kids life. So he put Gigi first, not Lorelai.
As for sleeping with Lorelai while Gigi was also in the house, well since I don’t think everybody is an only child here, at least not me, parents tend to do this. No that I like the thought, but well, it’s pretty common…

Wow, two DC’s one with L/C and one with L/A. Not that I really thought there would be one for E/R maybe…

Still, the flat screen has arrived and things really get nasty with Anna.

3 ILYs. god i hate this writer. FT was awful to watch and now those dumb ILYs again.

ASP was always careful with that. they were saved for LL.

and now one writer is throwing them around like its a 'good morning. dont forget to use clean underwear.' routine.

I'm so sick of it. really.

dare DR to use ILYs for LL. Lorelai always just seem to use them when she feels weak.
