You do not want to play with me damsel. I am not a play thing. I am the thing that does the PLAYING! Such an easy joke. But so apt. Nevertheless, your entire post did not come across as a different point of view, but as you being nothing more than condescending. Since your way of seeing the world is apparently SO F'N RADICAL! GLEAM THE CUBE, MAN! GLEAM THE CUBE.

<note to self> They still exhibit the same behaviour. As if they have yet to learn. Perplexing, isnt it?

Well alright. We'll agree to disagree. Because I think --actually, I know-- that my views are independent of many other JJs' views on this thread.

I keep forgetting that there is a new EPISODE TOMORROW! 2 hours of AI and a brand new episode of GG? What will I do with myself?

HK, you guys are like a multi-headed Cerebus to me. It's not a agree or disagree thing. It's imperical. Nice of you all to get along in your world. Too bad that does not translate to this one. Woof. Woof. Woof. See? Cerebus? Oh forget it. I have given up trying to understand your people...!

Why does Lorelai have to get her brain back? Oh, I forgot, that's the only way she can be acceptible for your big doofus douchebag Luke (This is funny, and makes me laugh. Someone, bring forth, my own BUNNY DANCE!). He gets slagged because apparently he STILL has a brain. When, really, he was too oblivious to even ask Lorelai last year. If there were any problems. Even when he did ask questions. HE did not even ask PROBING QUESTIONS! Freakin Monarch of the Dunderheaded Fiancee Ignorers.

I present the above as EXHIBIT 1048576950475786957 Q in this whole sort CEREBUS affair. I also submit my underpants. Why? Since it's about time someone made an underwear joke. Due in large part to these male writers not being a fan of goofying on granny panties! Do they not watch ROMANTIC COMEDIES? GRANNY PANTIES ARE GOLD! GOLD I TELLS YA!

Now that I just got used to skipping most parts of the thread? Nah, it's so much easier to keep track, if you haven't to read all posts, but only the 15% that actually contain discussions about spoilers and not discussions about spoiler discussions.

Although it's a difference to have a crush on somone you "know", I don't think either that Rory's crush will harm the relationship of R/L. It's a crush and no one ever said that she's going to start something with him, it's all in her imagination. And during a long relationship almost everyone has a little crush on somebody else sometime, still this doesn't mean that you've to break up, imo, actually it can be good every now and then Or like seslavie put it later:

ITA

Moreover, I don't see how Rory having a career means she can't be engaged or married. Marriage doesn't mean home life and kids (Even having a child doesn't mean home life, this changed half a century ago, women have more than one possibility, they can choose) I know many couples who are married since years, who love each other but never felt that this love has to be crowned with kids.

Hopefully, that'll be the case.

TVGuide's 7.13 description. Nothing really new.

I concur.

I wonder if Rory will tell Logan, if his patented "Rory-radar" activates and he senses that something is off; after all, we're about to be told in 7.11 that Rory's "lesson" from 7.10 is that "honesty is the best policy."

Apparently this is the second semester of Richard's course...Shouldn't Rory have already met all of Richard's teaching assistants?

Everytime I read this, it makes me laugh. It just seems so "out there".

Anyway, my point has been, this whole crush thing seems to be coming at a time which makes no sense for Rory and Logan, and what she should be feeling about them. It's a storyline that might have happened in the past but not now, especially after "borrowing a helicopter" to be with her. The amalgamation of Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, and a resurrected Cary Grant could be standing in front of me and I couldn't think of anyone but the guy who "borrowed a helicopter" to be with me.

Rory and Logan are not living together anymore, they don't interact much anymore, and now Rory's interest is waning and her eyes are roaming. This doesn't say to me, everything's going to be fine and they'll remain together. It says, they are going to come to a realization that they don't belong together, and that'll be how it ends. I'm only picking up on the things they are incorporating into the storyline to counteract all the closeness and overcoming obstacles and moving on to more serious levels that was being built up over the past two seasons. They are chipping away at that because I don't think *these writers* want that outcome. So, how best to do that? Show Rory growing away -- which is very difficult to do at this point in any event -- but they are going to do it and as a result make Rory look pretty bad (fickle, heartless) and Logan, pretty good.
