If I'm Hello Kitty! which I assume I am, Jason, I only ranted earlier because when I myself made a generalization about Sophies a few weeks back, I was told it was unfair -- which I now completely agree with. So I was extending that same sentiment to all the comments that were made about JJs in general (and Sophies for that matter). I understand that you take sides for a reason. But after awhile, the war of the sides gets pretty pointless...

And I resent the nickname.

yes, Melodie is taking a tour today. Everyone, myself included, is hoping and excited for any new GG news.

I heard that 7.15 is being filmed now so any info. on what is seen on that set would be amazing.

I was discussing with someone a while ago that we would really like to see a discussion with Rory/Chris that is similar to the one Carmen has with her dad in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. A lot of Carmen's issues with her father had to do with the fact that she was scared he would completely disappear from her life so she wouldn't ever express her anger with him. I think that now that Rory has a semblance of a relationship with Chris she has the same fears. And I really want to see that all put on the table.

I can't want Chris to screw up so badly that he'll never be able to repair his relatinoship with Rory. Because I think Rory wants a relationship with him. But I do want her to finally feel like she can tell him how she feels for herself. The only time she's gotten up the courage was when he hurt Lorelai. She's protective enough of Lorelai to risk her relationship with her father. She needs to gain that for herself.

ITA Christine. So much could have been done with that. Plus they could have easily intertwined Rory with some of the "marraige" SLs- the town accepting Chris, the baby talk, etc. And that brings us back to the point that Rory and Lorelai hardly have scenes or even conversations alone this season.

Perhaps this is how we'll be pleasantly surprised? Perhaps DR has finally gotten a grip on the roots of GG, and will, in the next 12 episodes, somehow bring back the much missed family dynamic?

Ha, I've been thinking about post the same thing today. I do believe that Carmen relationship with her father in TSOTP is very similar to Rory and Chistopher's. And since the writers brought Chris back to the show, I want them to let Rory share her feelings with him...disconnected from Lorelai, just like Carmen. Her character deserves this.

Besides, Carmen emotional phonecall to her father was one of the most beautiful moments in the movie and their last scene at his wedding was also great. I want the same kind of closure for Christopher and Rory.

Tara, everyone gets a nickname, and that one is yours. Think about HELLO KITTY for a minute. It's not meant as a bad thing...in the least.

That aside, damsel, I still read a whole lot of YOU in your response about Chris. It's not about you or me, or how we feel about people like Christopher. I had one dad that I loved and fought with. While I had another dad that I barely knew, and who barely knew me. So, I get having issues with DADs such as Chris, but Rory deals with her dad. She deals with it. She forgives him or has accepted his place in her life. That you and your other friends would give Rory crap for being pissed at Lorelai for not having Rory at their wedding. Shows, to me, that you have problems with a character, that in no way has ever been reflected by the creator, the writers, the current writers, the current SHO-RUNNA, and the characters on this show. I could give a **** about Chris not being there. I think he sucks for missing his SPECIAL AWESOME DAUGHTER growing up. See the difference? It's not about you or me, but it's about the story. A story, in which, Rory loves her dad WORTS and ALL. So you do not like him as a person. What does that have to do with anything?
