Not having seen the episode yet I'm gonna guess that Rory's "crush" is just that a "crush. A young girl's crush at that.

Rory is close to 22 and she has had exactly three guys in her life, two who she's rounded third and slid into home with, that's really not that many. I don't count Marty or Tristan cause the feelings were one sided to me.

Maybe, just maybe, this guy's is just a harmless diversion from all the stress in her life right now plus if he's teaching her class he has one of the quality that Rory ranks high on her list - intelligence.

That and the fact he's there right now which unfortunately Logan isn't. It's a silly excuse to use I know but he's there, he may in fact remind her of Richard and he may, like most crushes, not even know she is getting girly over him. Let's face it Rory's never done the girly, girly stupid moon eyed thing over a male - thank the gods of TV taste for that.

He's also safe. He can be a fantasy that she doesn't have to take seriously because to me that's what most crushes are be they a person you know, some celebrity or in my case Spock or Chakotay from Trek or Mal from Firefly. They are safe, I don't have to cook for them, I don't have to wash their clothes or worry about their moods or health or real issues. I can have them run rampant in my daydreams without the trauma of real life.

As long as there is no crossing that line or swapping of spit I say go for it Rory, you deserve just a wee bit of a crush because I think you are, unlike your Momma at times, strong enough to know what is real and right there in front of you. I think you know the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

It may be intense from her point of view. Most crushed are at first at least until reality slaps you in the face. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she and we will recognize it for what it is...a crush.

I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what which bottle the writers where swilling out of the day they wrote this storyline!

Yep When I have 2 things to watch I usually record the one I might want to watch again so more sense to record GG.

as for the PBP I think they are just doing a one post recap in about 15 minutes on the MT, about all they are good for lately

I'd also like to say, it's certainly the prerogative of whoever's posting a spoiler to choose where it gets posted, but it's not cool for anyone else to go flaunting it around, making thinly-veiled references to it in other threads, namely this one, and sarcastic comments elsewhere. Not cool at all.

the MT is never gonna work if spoilers are kept to the shipper threads but it it other peoples choice where of if they post spoilers or any content on FF.

damselfly with or without a spoiler I have always thought Luke is good enough for Lorelai, maybe he has not always realised that but my statement can stand on it's own.
