Can't tell what she's wearing, she has a scarf tucked in the front of her coat. It looks as if she and Rory are in Weston's Bakery though when Rory asks about her lying to Chris, and that would flow with walking around the square afterwards. Maybe.

I still say the secret meeting part is manipulation, even though that's unusual on Canadian tv, and agree she's probably running out to mail the letter.

I can't believe that Global's promo people are being manipulative...

They're supposed to be HONEST and boringly TRUTHFUL!! Gosh darn it!!

I'm a bit disappointed with the people of my country...

ETA2: Wait...doesn't this make sense: It's a SECRET meeting because, even though it's an unplanned or unexpected meeting, Lorelai HIDES it from Christopher. She never tells him that Luke came by to the DFI to meet her.
Not that it was a planned secret meeting, but an unplanned meeting that she is keeping secret from him...

Well now I've seen the promo (isn't the Internet fun

) and the "I'm going out.." IMO is nothing to do with the meeting but it going be Lorelai posting the letter because she'll be right back, Could we be lucky enough to have Lorelai deliver the letter to Luke or didn't we get a spoiler that she sent it direct to the lawyer.

It wouldn't be the first time they changed plans. remember how Luke was going to pick up Lorelai for his sisters wedding, but next ep Lorelai shows up all "fruity" at the diner.

Craig, Luke did say in the DC just to send the letter directly to the lawyer, so I'm guessing that the spoiler we got before, that Lorelai does mail the letter to the lawyer in 7.11, is true. And that she wouldn't deliver it to Luke.

Also in the eipsode discription it says that she has trouble writing it at first and after she and Rory run into L/A at the mall she is able to write it. So the santa sweater at the coffee shop is probably prior to her writing it?

I'm thinking at this stage unless there was a legal problem with them eloping (so don't want to go into whether it was legal or not) there will be a divorce, and probably final ep 18 so L&L hook up in 19 (or at the end of 18).

Isn't it about two months? I mean, it's obviously not ideal, but that's not so short. Plus, maybe they won't end with graduation. Especially if this is the last season, it would be nice if they ended with Rory's post-grad plans.

She WILL be alone after 7.13......IMO til 7.18/7.19 at least......

i´m still going for an annulment....

What! Chris is gone in 14 and my SPEC has Luke back in 19, that's 5 eps with a break so maybe a couple of months of not being in a romantic relationship, how is that jumping from one bed to another? Just 'cause my SPEC has the divorce and then Luke back the next ep. They are lots of couples that get official during divorce from someone else.

Now if we had more time the I would say later but with 12 eps before the show might be done there is no time to waste!
