That's not what I was referring to. I was talking about later when she searched him out when he wasn't being faculty advisor for the boosters anymore. She said herself that she thought he was avoiding her. She should have left it alone. If he wanted to avoid her that's his perogative. Especially since she clearly never entertained any serious thoughts about taking that kiss further. It was very self-centered at the least.

As for owing him an explanation, she owed him that explanation before she took off with Rory. Now, it's opening up his old wounds to make herself feel better.

The person posting the spoiler needs to protect their source so they re-write the info and of course that may reflect their own opinions or feelings (I assume) so no don't blame the source or person posting them, I blame the mob mentality here.

Again with people having their own opinions and theories on them they can be twisted to suit ones needs.

The only attitude on that topic that I've noticed on the RL thread (and it coincides with my own) is that the money doesn't matter. No judgement either way based on his financial assets because they don't define him.

It's like saying Lorelai is rich 'cause she has rich parents or marry Chris.

Oh ok, I misunderstood. Did she ever tell anyone about that kiss? Max mentioned they had a deal to forget about the kiss, but Lorelai didn't remember any such deal, so I'm just wondering if she said she had no serious thoughts about taking it further.

Going back to my original point though, I still chalk it up to her being new at relationships, but maybe that's because I don't immediately think the worst of her. Rory's had her ups and downs too, treated Dean like dirt sometimes, and hasn't always treated Logan well, but I don't write her off as being a selfish brat. She's figuring it out as she goes, as was/is Lorelai -- and part of that is learning from your mistakes.

Because "business" doesn't interest me. Because I don't believe anybody should have that much money. Because what I like about Logan is his intelligence and his quick wit. I hated Colin, Finn, the whole LBD crowd.

No we do not, at least I don't. My sources tell me exactly what to write and what to say. I don't deviate from what I'm told. Perhaps they are rewording the information they have before giving it me, but what you see is what I get.

I just want to address this point in a general sense. People are individuals regardless of who they are related to. Liking a person does not automatically translate into liking their parent(s) or their child(ren). There are some horrible parents in this world who have been blessed with very nice and likeable children and vise versa.

Therefore liking Rory doesn’t mean that we have to be blind to her parents’ faults (Lorelai and Christopher) and automatically like them in turn. It’s the individual qualities and genuineness of a person that make them likeable

It seemed pretty clear to me that she wasn't. I suppose she expressed confusion to Rory. But I still think that, unless she was certain that she wanted to pursue something, that it would be different this time, and that it wasn't soley the physical attraction that they never had a problem with, she should have left him alone and respected his right to avoid her.

Rory has absolutely made mistakes with her relationships. And I've been annoyed with her over it when she did. I've just seen her learn more than Lorelai. I'm not writing Lorelai off as a selfish brat (although I've come very close to it this season). I said somewhere in the last thread that I think her selfishness comes from her emotional stuntedness. None of this conversation began as a Lorelai is evil thing. I brought up Max as an example of Lorelai's confusion when it comes to Love. There is a reason some people take her declaration of love in the car as complete fact.

I don't know whether its a fact or not. I am just basing my own understanding of who she loves on her desperation last year. Why would she care so much if she never loved luke? I do think she loves chris...but not like she loves luke. She may have loved him in the past...and I think that she loves what she thought they could be and possibly their childhood friendship. But, to me thats different than the love necessary to sustain a lifelong committment. I am also mad that this show takes marriage so lightly.

Really JSW? I would say the opposite - how could anyone be a fan of and care about Rory and actually LIKE Chris considering how conditional his caring about his daughters has been over the years. Obviously YMMV!!
