In my world, age has nothing to do with how good looking a person is. I find SP to be a good looking man, even if he's far too old for me. I'm not looking for a relationship with the him.

I thought Natalie Wood was very beautiful, but she was far too old for me and before my time, and personally not my preferred sexual preference.

Thanks for the thread, Caf!

That's why this discussion is rather pointless to me. Why does it matter who we find attractive? Are we that lacking in spoilers?(don't answer that lol)

I agree. Age doesn't matter. I mean, look at Paul Newman.

I find Matt sexy as hell. SP, not so much. It really is a personal preference.

Either way, I find having a good personality very attractive, and colours how I see a person.

Lacking in spoilers, lacking in new pictures, lacking even in interesting things to speculate about. Although I'm curious about what the thing with Sookie is, or what is the point of Rory having a crush on an instructor if nothing comes of it (although I guess it implies Richard's health crisis will be short lived as even the new superficial Rory wouldn't be mooning around Yale if her grandfather was on his death bed), and will Luke get some custody of April. I know the Luke/Anna/April thing is supposed to be high drama, but I think it says a lot about how blah this season has been that I wonder who really cares. I'm a big Luke fan but it's, so I wonder when Lorelai will be back in the diner? Not, gee I hope Anna doesn't rip his heart out.

Has this been ask/discussed before

Who thinks we might get some time jump between 13 and 14, maybe a couple of weeks, enough time for Richard to back at home or recovering. I guess it all depends on how the C&L break up is handled, is it at the end of 13, will we see the break up or just read about it so to speak.

I think that seems the most plausible. It would also make ep 11, 12, and 13 seem like a little trilogy, which would work well, IMO. My only issue with the time skip is that I want Lorelai telling Christopher it's over to be on camera, and if too much time passes between the eps, the writers may think it better to leave it off camera. After all, if Lorelai makes up her mind in ep 13, I don't think she should sit and stew on it for weeks and weeks and weeks.

Who knows, then end of ep 13 all we might get is "Chris, we need to talk" or "Chris I want a divorce" but yes most of it could be off screen leaving ep 14 Chris free.

I would imagine it works this way to avoid the problems the record industry have had. When they keep albums that have been out for years at the same price high price point.
Yes DVDs go on sale here depending on how popular that are, big hits will stay at a higher price longer while others will be in the bargain bin only weeks/months after they come out.

If Rory is, indeed, graduating in the last episode of this season, then any time jump must be within that timeframe. 7.11 is clearly set in January, and I'm assuming 7.22 is set in May -- maybe June -- but most graduation ceremonies are in May. So, how much time could they jump? It's one of the factors that makes Rory's sudden infatuation so distasteful, following almost immediately upon her grandfather's serious illness, her boyfriend's support, and her parents' marital dissolution. Unless, all of these factors play into her acting suddenly out of character. "Seemingly sensible" people can turn on a dime and act like complete fools when hit with a lot of stress. Just look what she did after Mitchum told her she didn't "have it!" The next thing you know she's stealing a yacht and has become a felon. However, I always feel that these type of people lack a certain measure of inner strength, so maybe that's the case here.

Will Lorelai set PA on Chris

But seriously given what we know about the history of the show I'm not holding out too much hope for a draw out long "We need to talk".

and same goes for when L&L talk, I'm betting no long talk. I think right now they are okay, They have for the most part has forgiven each other and will just move on now.

If this season is last, I hope Rory's graduation takes place two or even three episodes before the end. I'd like to get a glimpse of where everyone is headed in the next stage, after the excitement and celebrations.

Capa. dudette, I am not the one having skievy bunny dances about a character leaving. Do not get your hopes up too high. I would hate for the reality of the situation to disappoint you.

Craig, uh, no, it works the other way around. Most big flicks sell-through their price points in two to three months. So, around March, the Pirates 1 disc and 2 disc will get cheaper. Supes on 2 disc will get cheaper as well. Again, there is a window, and once the sales go through out that window. Slash them prices in order to sell more product. Again, unlike the music industry, at least the movie companies have got the hint about their catalogue titles.

Finally, it's not personal preference. It all ties into how certain people feel about certain characters on this show. It's the ROOT CORE part of that equation. Again, buff point-guard guy, has to win everytime. How he does not. Really makes me question the lot of ya, and your taste in men. Shame on you. SHAME I STATE! SHAME !

SO if we get a time jump of a couple of weeks I don't see this having a problem with the time line, ep 11 is likely to be mid to late Jan, the following weeks will probably be only a week apart so why not a small jump, just enough time for Richard to be on his way to recovery or back home and for Chris to be gone from the CS.

Maybe ep 14 could open with Richard coming home and Lorelai helping out, maybe Emily and Lorelai have a talk about what happened?

OT - Well Jason maybe it's different here, it seems to take for ever for some top titles to go on sale or be reduced in their normal price while other not so good movies/TV are reduced sooner, then again maybe it's me and and the movies/TV I like?

Yeah, I hope that the very last ep isn’t just about Rory’s graduation, but more about all and everybody. And I would love a “simple” ending, like the end of the very first episode, just not only with Lorelai and Rory in the Diner, but with Emily as well. That would be nice.

There's also a difference between putting things on sale and the remnant bin, which isn't where S6 is. I can get S1 or S2 occasionally for 14.99, that's the rock bottom price, or like I could have picked up S1 of 24 for 15 bucks @ Sams before Christmas. That's different from putting something on sale that is normally 44.99 for around 30 bucks. They still get a high profit margin, but they make more money because they sell more units. It's the WalMart philosophy, and the dvd industry seems to have embraced it.
