Chris is 2nd choice it only took them 8 eps to catch up to what we knew back in ep 4!

I hope he leaves with some dignity intact, oh wait we're talking about Chris and this is not a mutual decision!

I'm glad Paris is going to help Rory. That should provide for some humor. I'm still wondering if we'll get a Richard/Rory scene before the collapse. At least to remind us that Rory is taking his class so it's not so out of the blue.

I have got to know what's in that letter if it makes Chris actually come to the conclusion that he's her second choice... (duh!)

So am I dumb but if Chris finds out he was second choice and the break up is not mutual and started by Lorelai then why doesn't he walk, does he have no dignity? Does he want to be a guy in a loveless marriage for the next 40 years?

That's a good question. But remember, the other spoiler said the divorce has nothing to do with Luke. So, I'm thinking that this whole second choice question/concept will be glossed over. I'm sure her response will be vague (at least I hope it will be) but I don't think Chris will read too much into it. Otherwise, yeah, why shouldn't he be the first to talk.

I will believe that Chris was the second choice if I hear that sentence from Lorelai mouth... until now, Luke seems the second choice, she loved Christ first. and I still keep my spec, Lorelai loves both guys, she can't stay with one of them.. or she finds a way to be a woman with two hubbies, or she could be alone at the end or wth a third man, how I see the things.

Well, CHRIS thinks he might be second choice. That must be a humdinger of a letter.

Since Lorelai did not pursue Chris after the breakup in S5, when they were both available, and only started dating him in S7 when she thought Luke wasn't an option (i.e., supermarket scene), I would say that makes Chris second choice.

Well, she was in a bed with other man few hours (or minutes) later than that, you are not a woman but you could tell me how much that meant.
