Lorelai has some kind of feelings for him but it is not love. It doesn't go as deep as wanting to spend the rest of her life with him. Growing old with him, having more kids with him. She wanted all that with Luke and I bring this up one more time: I have never really loved someone until Luke - not even Chris
What else does she have to say in order to make that clear to EVERYONE ?

What makes it UNCLEAR, is the fact that she told Chris ILY several times AFTER saying that. People can make a statement and then have a change of opinion you know. Since Lorelai saying she loves Chris is the last information we have FROM LORELAI HERSELF, I'll go by it. Crystal clear to me.

Pre-season 7 relationship, did Lorelai ever tell Chris she loved him? I can't remember..I know she told Rory she'd always love Chris, but I do't think there was ever a scene in which she told Chris straight up that she loved him. Am I incorrect?
