But I can't help but laughin' at some remarks other posters make about him

And Stephanie, if you wanna know why is it different now that Chris will miss the chance to support Rory, I've expained my theory 2 posts ago. Tell me what you think of it.

Lorelai told him she's ok about his past because he's trying NOW.
But by trying Chris means inviting Rory's friends to lunch in a very expensive place. Spending the whole day at the hospital with her holding her and hugging her saying "everything will be alright, I'm here" is probably not included in the "trying to be a dad" process.

MA is a putz. He can't get over his biases in order to be evenhanded with regard to all the fanbases. What would it cost him? If I were in his position -- with *my* current biases -- I would see myself as a conduit for all fans and try and be polite and pleasant about their concerns, but not MA. That's why you can't rely on his spin on things, because they come through the prism of his dislike for Rory and Logan to the point that he's probably hoping that Rory jumps into bed with the TA to scratch that itch and *then* breaks up with Logan, permanently.

As for LL being the only ones who should get married, considering the health of their relationship in comparison to Rory and Logan's, I find it contrived beyond belief. Oh, it doesn't matter how successful they are at it. How long they've managed to stay together. How many hurdles they've gotten over THEY MUST NOT GET MARRIED. Okay, well then maybe we should break up Emily and Richard again, or Sookie and Jackson, or Lane and Zach, or Paris and Doyle since it little matters how well they're doing as a couple, they're just not Lorelai and Luke.

I read it. I just didn't respond to it because I'm not sure if your spec is going to come true...as great as it is I'm still unsure if DR has the insight to make it about Rory...as he's forgotten about her so many times this season.

O/T but On Topic: I think Richard's health crisis may involve a cardiac arrest of some sort...he's had angina before, and I think that, at his age, it is not uncommon to suspect a heart condition. I just hope it's not too serious.

hmm who should get married and setle down:
a couple of , let's face it 'getting old' people who lived alone enought and who's biological clock is ticking
or a couple of young people who just started their lifes as adults and have everything before them and to whom a marriage would take away this opportunity..

when did he had angina?

cant remember

plus it only can involve the heart if you dont get treated with the right antibiotics

but you may be right about the cardiac arrest. he once had it. the heart never gets fully healthy again after that.
