Or they could just have MM wear big sweaters and sit with things infront of her. I dont' really see any need to write this in. If this is the last season, the last few eps will really need to focus on the two girls, so why introduce a side SL pregnancy we'll never see through. And if we by some miracle get a season 8, MM will have had her baby months before the filming would start, so it was seem pointless to put the pregnancy suit on her again, or try to work in a sookie birth in those last few eps that so need to focus on however Rory and Lorelai's stories wrap up. JMO, though.

Being serious how will Melissa baby affect the chances of the show coming back for S8, I know she's not a lead and they can work around her (no pun intended) but what if she doesn't want to come back, I mean Sookie is Lorelai's best friend and partner at the DFI it must affect the show if she didn't come back.

Well I know logically it will happen but I thought I'd ask Ausiello and see if he knew or had more since I seem to have the golden touch with emailing the podcast.

Plus some people here say I don't care about Rory or Chris, not that I care what certain people think of me.

BTW - ironically the podcast one was sent back saying they are still on a break LOL

Katie or they can have Sookie carrying stuff or the kids to hide it and no offence but on her it's easier to hid the 6-7 month of being pregnant than say on Lauren or Kimberly.

Well, I do like that you are asking Craig, whether it has an effect or not, I am not thinking MA will deliver when it comes to Rory and Logan ... But yeah you seem to be a regular on that show , so we may get surprised

About Melissa and the pregnancy, I am not thinking this will be a problem like Katie said. And if the CW wants another season, I am agreeing with Jason that I am thinking both LG and KB can be 'bought' for another one ... and I also love the idea of the eps in turns revolving around either Lorelai or Rory (with some overlap). Seems like a great idea, storywise and well workloadwise. Does seem strange though that the CW doesn't seem very active yet in making decisions ... but I dunno really during what time of a season decisions like this are made anyway. Seems late though. They are already starting to shoot ep 15 pretty soon (right?) ... getting pretty close to the end of the season already ...

I'll send him a question. He answered one of mine once but it took a few months, it seemed.

I just thought, since he doesn't answer very many questions about Rory, we should ask something that we really don't know or are less sure about ... like will she and Logan stay together? Get engaged? Will she get a job? Go to grad school? Will she move back with Logan? Something along those lines.

By the way, does "Ask Ausiello" cover his podcast as well? Or is that just for his column?

It doesn't seem that strange too me...I don't think we'll get any word for sure until after sweeps, the CW will want to see those ratings. Jet1945 @ Fanbolt had posted this earlier in December. It's really helpful and it explains how and when any negotiations should start to happen:

Anyway - DR can begin to "adjust" story lines for the last 4 episodes or so based on this. By my figuring Episode 7.18 starts filming the middle of Feb and 7.22 ends on the 12th of April; which makes it the last 4 for him to tinker with if he wants.

I know and this is why the fans should know already whats the fate of this show? I don want to find out in May when there are 2 epi's left that thsi show is over.I really hope somehow we can get a S8 b/c this show is one of the oldest shows for the CW and is needed to keep there network growing, b/c GG has a good steady fanbase.

Good idea, might as well ask how many grand kids they will have also LOL

As others have said I think he doesn't know much about Rory or maybe he has not asked so doesn't care.

But might as well ask him a lot all the time, can't hurt and the more people ask he might get off his but and do some looking.

As for the podcast I really don't know as the one from last week I sent in Jan 2 to both podcast and MA, the podcast one was returned so I guess they got it from the MA email address.

Still though it seems late to me in the season to decide whether it is the last one or not, but I guess that is more a personal thing.

Oh, I agree that it seems really late. I just want to be able to prepare for the end of the show. I hated how it happened with Everwood with the fans only having two or so eps before the end. But the way LG's making it seem, I really think any final word is a long way away at this point.
