Well, what I bolded is mean. I'm not sure how you can spin it any other way, but I'm sure you'll come up with something. I've been lurking mostly, posting infrequently for almost a couple of years now, and I've seen L/L shippers be rude, and Sophies be rude. What amazes me is how some Sophies seem to think their crap doesn't stink.

Tara Ashley, keep posting. Ignore the personal insults, and just discuss the show. The personal insults aren't rational, can't be debated, and don't mean anything anyway. So just ignore them.

Nope, not saying that. It was in response to whoever was throwing her under the bus for never trying, before we even get to where she breaks it off. I think she has been trying some, and we'll see her step that up in the next couple of episodes.

Not a fan of it myself. There's lots of net speak that bugs -- could probably fill a book with it.

Even though I might not express it in a similar way that Jason or you, Lauren might, I do totally agree, that right now Lorelai deserves nothing. And I am not basing that on being the one to start this breakup, I am basing this on the fact that she will first need to show in someway that she realises she absolutely FRAKKED up big time ... and not just with the Chris marriage, but starting with the Rory rift ... and I guess this will finally be what LG already referred to after the ending of Season 6 to Zooby ... she needs to fall flat on her face ... and well, I really hope we get to see that! This is why I still can't be all happy about this divorce coming up in light of LL because this doesn't mean a damn thing if we don't get to see her fall smack on her face clearly in this process and have some working on herself after it. That's why I don't get all the focus on Chris and him finally going down and all, because when it comes to L/L ... Chris has never been the Issue, the Issue in this matter is Lorelai (sure Luke has his part also, but I am focusing on her right now) ... she will need to fall hard, to get some clue, to hopefully at one point in the future be able to pull her life, well moreso herself together ...

Sure, the divorce is needed to give some opening towards a L/L reconciliation. But I guess I can't be rooting for this, until I have seen her well realise some painfull things about herself. It's not that I enjoy to see people in pain, I do like to see people finally getting a clue and well let's hope this will get painful enough to finally get to see this happening ...

Okee, now gonna try and think about Rory and that crush, oh wait intens crush again ...

ETA - blaab I agree with part of you last post, Lorelai needs to fall flat on her face and the divorce will do that, she's gonna be on the outs with a lot of friends and family wanting to say "I told you so" but not. E&R are not gonna be happy one bit about this no matter how it goes down.

I guess the sides with the French names are too far down the road for it to be Lorelai and Christopher picking up Gigi in Paris (and Lorelai looking around and realizing what she did there last time was a HUGE mistake) as apparently Gigi is back already in 11? No doubt Gigi will just appear, maybe flew in on her own, flapped her little arms. I can't see Logan proposing to Rory in a French restaurant if her parents who just got married in Paris (and all the big deal about them eloping without Rory in Paris) are now divorcing, seems a little insentitive. A Michel family reunion? Lane gives the twins French names? Way too soon for Luke to propose, frankly, unless the show goes into manic wrap up mode, although again a French resturant would be a bad idea after the Chris thing. As Chris is supposed to be in later episodes, maybe they have to go there to get marriage documents so they can divorce in the USA?

Okee, Rory and the intens crush ... I try to think about something logical, but right now I cannot come up with a damn thing. Maybe it is the wording; intense crush, to me that wouldn't just happen overnight and well it appears to suddenly be there. KABOOM there it is. Rory has an intense crush. HUH ... like some others already mentioned, the ep before I would think she is still crushed with her grandfathers illness, Logan is there I totally assume to support her. Okee her parents split up and her grandfather is sick. Are they (the writers) gonna try and show some link between this messing her up some and her directing some attention to this TA that maybe is extremely flattering to her? But that would be her being flattered by some attention, I wouldn't name that Rory developing an intens crush. I dunno, doesn't make a lot of sense. It would make somewhat sense if Logan would in Rory's experience not be around enough for her ... that would show a 'nice' link to her mom and the way she deals with things. I do believe it was stated also that Rory won't do anything with this guy ... but still for a crush to become intens so quickly leaves me very confused, because well, a crush alone even needs some time, at least some to develop ... still thinking there might be a time-skip (maybe as a last solution to my confusion) ... can this be?
