With sides, (or just the list) it's like Christmas ever 10 days or so here. We get excited at what they are, we rattle the box, come up with spec, then over the next few weeks we slowly open them as new spoilers come, only to reveal we've been screwed by Santa yet again!

Very true. And they often do it in a very romantic way.

The recent spoilers given us by Saranoh and Ciaobella are quite specific.
At least we know that Lorelai starts the break up herself, that she wants to end the C/L thing because of things not going well with him and none of the things she'll do will have to do with Luke and I'm happy.
This will sort of break the triangle and - whenever Luke and Lorelai will end up together - they'll sort of have a clean start,

As for Rory: I'm glad that she gets a sort of storyline, but - to be honest - more than having her involed in crush I'd love to see her fighting to build her future.
One of the thing that made me fall for the show was the Rory character: my favourite is Lorelai, but this young girl, cute, ubersmart and extremely focused on her future was and their reciprocal relationship was a big thing for me. I'd never liked a young character on a show that much.

So the TA thing is welcomed because it will give Rory a real plot to be involed: I'm tired of Marty's useless return or to see Rory only as someone who's role is reacting to Lorelai's recent choiced,.
On the other hand: Rory doesn't need a male character, may that be Logan or the TA, to be interesting.

I have not changed my feelings about Lorelai's feelings toward Chris even if it is Lorelai potentially dumping Chris. I don't think it has anything to do with love. I still think she loves him, and likely always will, just like she said in S1. It has to do with who can and will wipe her ass more. And that's Luke. Chris flakes out on her when she needs him, same damn thing Luke did last season. She didn't dump Luke because she didn't love him anymore, she dumped him because she wasn't the center of his universe anymore. With Gigi back Chris has to pay attention to his young daughter again, she finally gets over her own bitter fest about Luke with the letter writing. It all makes perfect sense to me.

It's still ALL ABOUT LORELAI! The woman has earned being alone, inperpetuity!

Color me confused, but is it not Lorelai who is the author of this letter, not Rory? Rory's 22, if she feels strongly enough about Luke she could write her own letter. Which is the only way we'll truely know how SHE feels.
