My old question: does the break up happen suddenly - in this case, what is the reason; or step by step, the circumstances lead to it?

Do you speak English in Australia?

Are there supermarkets in Sydney and is milk available all year round?

ITA. I was never a Rory/Jess fan (though I would choose him over Dean), but I absolutely love Jess/Luke scenes. My favorite is when they fight about Jess staying in school..hmm end of season 3? And Luke says something along the lines of you..."you should be so lucky to have a job like mine". It's an amazing scene. Anyways, don't ever feel bad for expressing an opinion Ciao.

Thanks for clarifying CatKirk. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

And THANK YOU, Ciao, for the spoiler. It is much appreciated. I'm getting excited for the next few episodes!

That is a spoiler.
thanx ...

i have the huge need to do this >>

Mag13 wow we can buy milk 7 days a week now and I'm not even in Sydney, it must be 2007 LOL

ETA - I like this one

Q: I have a question about a famous animal in Australia, but I forget its name. It's a kind of a bear and lives in trees. (USA)
A: It's called a Gum Drop Bear. They are so called because they drop out of Gum trees and eat the brains of anyone walking underneath them. You can scare them off by spraying yourself with human urine before you go out walking.
THE DAILY APOLOGY: Funny Australian Travel Questions

My point about "markets" was they are not just talking about supermarkets (which they have always been called) but more shopping centres are being called markets in the name.

Back to the spoilers, I'm thinking late in ep 13 or sometime in 14 the axe will fall and Chris will be cut off!

Thanks for the new spoilers.

Well, Lorelai started the whole mess, it's only fair that she's one who starts to end it now.

Thanks for the spoiler, Ciao.

I will still wait to see how it plays out. I just can't imagine it being that black and white.

I don't think she would go after THEIR money I'm talking about what she would be legally entitled to by CT law. I would bet she would not want a cent from Chris.
And I'd bet you're right.

Quote:
What do spoilers have to do with it? Sounds like she tries to reach him several times, and presumably leaves messages. Whether he chooses to answer or not, you'd think at some point he'd get a clue and at least listen to his messages. It seems reasonable Rory would try calling him too.
It means that we know why Lorelai is trying to reach him but he doesn't. All he knows is that they have -- according to spoilers -- fought again, and he obviously doesn't want to hear from her at that moment. Who else has done that on this show? Lorelai avoiding Emily? Rory avoiding Lorelai? Neither of these two knew why the other person wanted to speak to them. They assumed it was about their earlier meetings with these people. And yet, Chris should be a mind reader?

Quote:
And I seem to remember just a few eps ago someone with the name Lorelai didn't answer her phone 'cause she was pissed her parents eloped! and what was Lorelai's motto about answering her mothers calls!

Seems to run in the family maybe C&L do belong together LOL
Oh. Yes, thanks. That's exactly my point. Thanks.

Quote:
The Lorelai comment...huh? Again, I will never understand how comparing Lorelai and Luke to Rory and Logan will solve anything, ever.

All she did was state an observation of young couples today, one that I agree with. No one's saying Rory and Logan are like all the rest, but it's a valid point. And no, I don't fast-forward through their scenes.
Well, just as L&L fans go to great lengths to respond when anyone suggests they shouldn't remain together, so do R&L fans. So, there's your valid comparison. And, Lorelai reneging on marriages says to me that people of *any* age can reasonably back out of a marriage or relationship they were previously very committed to not just people in their 20's, but that's not accepted in terms of L&L. They MUST be together. However, R&L? Not so much? It's a matter of caring for the relationship, which these fans clearly don't, and bares no resemblence to the couple's actual relationship on the show.

Quote:
That’s interesting then that Lorelai leaves Gigi at home alone with Christopher while she goes shopping with Rory. Now that they are one big happy family, shouldn’t Lorelai be including Gigi in their girls’ shopping spree? Wouldn’t Gigi prefer to go shopping than stay at home, unless she returns after Lorelai and Rory goes shopping.
Maybe Chris and Gigi are spending some time alone together since they were a family of two for quite a while, and she had only just returned from France. Time for her to reconnect with her daddy.

Quote:
Is Chris in Paris over Christmas to celebrate with her and Sherry
I can't imagine Chris celebrating X-mas with Sherry and her live-in yoga teacher boyfriend.

Quote:
What is going to happen with Gigi when Chris is off sulking and Lorelai at the hospital ?
Well, I don't think it's appropriate to take a 4 year old to the hospital on such an occasion, so he must leave her with his mother or some other trusted individual. Why is this a question?

Quote:
What is he going to do with her when Lorelai asks him to pack his things - nice and friendly of course
Once again, why the question? You seem to be pretty gleeful over this situation when it's not at all funny.

Quote:
Ironic that when Lorelai does turn 40 she'll most likely be divorced and yet to marry Luke.
Well, hopefully, she won't jump into the latter because being married to Luke (or to anyone for that matter) will not solve Lorelai's problems.

I'd even love him back for Rory's graduation. Sorry that makes you uncomfortable but it's not my job to make you all warm and fuzzy. So either ignore my Jess posts or get a thicker skin, cos I'm going to continue to say I like Jess.
Actually that's not how you expressed it. You seem to always want to provoke this "discussion" and you pick at it often, with the sly remarks and the "winky". I'm just calling you on your contribution to this thread's incivility. You pretend that you're not a part of it and that you don't *want* to be a part of it, but you do it all the time. So, you're one of the main instigators. You should "own it".

And I don't think MV is the next John Barrymore. He's the next Robert DeNiro.
At this point in DeNiro's career, i.e., 29-30 years old, he was making "Bang the Drum Slowly" and "Mean Streets," and he was preparing -- if not actually working on -- "Godfather Part II." Milo Ventimiglia just isn't in the same class of actors.

Quote:
Meh. I'll probably be the craziest person on the planet, but my preference would be that Jess/Rory remain good friends. And when/if Rory marries Logan, Jess will be invited to the wedding.
I don't think he would attend. Once "in love" with a Gilmore Girl, always "in love" with a Gilmore Girl.

I guess the rewrites won out.

Back to the consequences.... If the break up begins, will Chris leave CS immediately? How soon will Luke get the news?
ETA I like this one, too

Sandlynn said; "And, of course, some people will say she can't write if she's with Logan, because being with him will cause instant paralysis or her fingers will fall off and she won't be able to type on her computer."

Exactly.

Actually the "winky wink" was a self-deprecating jab at my silly little crush on MV. Not as a secret code to my fellow JJs to piss you off. It's not all about you.

And I was kidding about the Robert Deniro thing. Geesh. Why are you always so serious?

Thanks for the spoilers. Makes sense GG is home - will be interesting to find out where she will be during 7.13.

JSW: Just curious - am I supposed to be cowed by your verbal taunts or what? Just for the record, eye rolling is the usual response. I really do not care what you think of what I think...can't imagine why I would.
