Sandlynn, the world is not against you and your opinions. In fact, I highly doubt the writers are going to "trash" Rory or Chris. I can't imagine DR would care that little about this show that he would do such a thing.

How are you so sure that Lorelai will "jump" into Luke's arms? None of us know that. All we know right now is that she ends the marraige. And what did you want her to do? Stay in a marraige that she is clearly not 100% committed to? I can't defend her decision to marry Chris because that is beyond me, but I can defend her divorce and will continue to. Please don't make Lorelai out to be horrible and idiotic, because simply put, she's not.

What is there to trash ??? As I said right from the beginning Chris never changed and it still applies. Lorelai could never count on him. How is that any different now ? Was he there for Rory ? No and it still hasn't changed and don't come with the argument that he's paying for Yale. We didn't get ONE single scene just with him and Rory since he married Lorelai and he has absolutely no idea what's happening in her life.

They didn't tweak anything just so it fits. Remember Ausiello changing his statements about that daily because he had no clue what was going on. It was planed that way - they didn't tweak anything major. The plot outline is still the same.

I guess when Chris hears the news about Richard he will be very sorry that he didn't answer Lorelai's call. He will try to make it up to Lorelai, but Lorelai being the stubborn one she is, probably won't have any of it. It was now or never. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?!

Just remembered the message Lorelai left on Luke's answering machine after their first breakup. Luke was willing to be there for Lorelai without hesitation, though they just broke up, and she probably wasn’t his favourite person right then, but he was there for, unlike Chris who just sulks away, maybe Lorelai remembers as well. Well and actually seeing Luke there and Chris not, might help her a bit too.

And Lorelai already wrote the letter, remembered what Luke meant to her and Rory, I guess it’s all slowly coming back to her, what she gave up foolishly.

clmorrow, do I care about a hypocritical stance, that spent the last half of the second season stating you DID NOT WATCH IT. Which was followed up by you stating you were finished with this show. Yet, all of a sudden, as if some JJ or LL put up a SIGNAL. You come back in here to discuss a show, that you thought SUCKED. Wow. Nice stance. If anyone wants to talk (figuratively) some smack. Be prepared for the rebound. Nevertheless, clmorrow, I could careless, but you made this thread a slog. I am just making us...squaresies.

So, if enough LL's discuss a part of the show, then a spoiler will miraculously appear during that discussion? How quaint. And you WONDER why a portion of fans in this thread have a problem with a GROUP of fans (See? Portion and Group are two different things. You know what I get sick of? "I LOVE RORY!" Two minutes later; "I wonder what part Rory will play as a PLOT DEVICE in the entire LLC thing?"). Can I get an miraculous answer as to if Logan appears in episode 11? If anyone can use their powers of divining to conjure that up. It would be appreciated.

Finally, about the MIRACLE SPOILER FROM MOUNT SICILY IN PHILLY, Lorelai ends it? What a ****ing *******. ETA: I agree with Sandlynn's freaking MESS comments. This is pathetic. If she could be less of an asshat, and more of a grown-up. This might never have happened. Yet, in some INCREDIBLY COMPLEX SITUATION (Nice tease. If I wanted to be teased. I would go to a strip club not a SPOILER THREAD. Do you folks have embragoes or something?), Chris and Lorelai seperate? Yeah...right. The only way to redeem this whole situation was to have Chris walk-away. To have Lorelai walk-away. Absolutely craps in a box in relation to this storyline.

It saddens me that I can't even be excited about a spoiler on this thread. It also saddens me that I feel guilty every time I'm excited about something related to LL. Or I fear someone's biting remark. We did nothing wrong, Jason, in terms of this spoiler. Can't tell if you're kidding or not, but I hope you are. Because I am not going to feel bad for receiving a spoiler that makes me very happy!

I just confirmed that it always was supposed to be this way. Lorelai breaks up with Chris. This was planned. So it will happen.

I didn't say he was trashing Rory. I said he was trashing (and making foolish for that matter) her entire family in order to get L&L back together as quickly as possible. He is also, no doubt, going to be making Rory remember a lot more about how Luke was a father to her which we haven't seen nor have had supported by the show, but that's the other argument with how OOC this show has become.

As for Chris, what does DR have to lose by making Chris out to be despicable. The opinions I've been reading here, since last season's end, couldn't get anymore hateful in terms of the character, so hey! Win/win!

Some people hate Chris. (Not me, although of course, his shortcomings as a father are well documented.)

Some people hate Logan. (Not me, obviously.)

Some people hate Jess. (Yep, guilty as charged.)

Where is the love, indeed?

I've noticed that nobody seems to hate Dean. I wonder why that would be?

i want to see a rory/chris scene, them actually bonding. this just shows that he either don't give a damn about his daughters life, or that he doesn't have time to actually talk to her, spend some time with her. he said he wants to be there for THEM. both, lorelai and rory, but he's not, AGAIN. he's not even gona be there for lorelai when she will need him the most. luke will be, and not just for her but for emily and rory.

Tara, you can be happy, and LLs and JJs have done more than enough for me. Nevertheless, this is a bull**** resolution, to a storyline that I was liking. Hawk nailed this point last year, and it continues to be completely true now. LORELAI ALWAYS GETS OFF SCOT FREE. She is never at fault for any of her relationships breaking up. She's always the victim. She always WINS. What a bunch of bull****. If only this show were a martial arts epic. That way, Luke and Lorelai could fight one another, Luke could eventually come out on top, then there would be all sorts of gratuitous sex afterwards.

Nice of every JJ/LL to be a spoiler source. That right there is ANIMOSITY personified. Yeah, I really feel the love in this ****ing thread.
