Can't y'all just agree to disagree, and just get the **** along? All the whining, insulting, and degrading of other posters is just plain annoying and it's not the "story arcs" or lack there of that will make a person think twice about leaving this show; but seeing how its fans behave. If this show draws on posters such as yourselves, then really what the hell am I watching?

If the LL fans don't care for the RL storyline. Fine. Whatever!
If the RL fans don't care for the LL storyline. Fine. Whatever!
Stop trying to force feed your ships. If the storyline isn't to your liking, then take it up with DSR not whole damn LL/RL ships.

No he has not but someone speculated that maybe Lorelai gives one to him. We know she brings him a present but we don't know what it is. Craig asked Ausiello about the funny death and wrote finny instead of funny and finny sounds like fish or something and there you go with the goldfish speculation

Hey, he can post about Voltron all he wants. It's his attacks on people, when he accuses posters who are real people by name of "being bitter" or "not watching the whole show" (which actually is anyone's right who wants to, but in these cases he was wrong and how on earth would he know what someone else is watching anyway) - yeah, I do have a problem with attacks.

I guess, if TheJSW is free to go around attacking people, I'm free to post that I don't like those attacks.

I recall a number of times during the course of the show, when we were discussing Rory and Logan over here, or only Rory, that some posters said they were bored with the discussion, as if suggesting we should move along and get back to discussing Lorelai and Luke. Or, I remember these same people joining in the Rory and R&L discussion, but always concluding with the mantra: but Rory bores me anyway, OR but I just fast-forward over their parts of the show anyway, OR I really don't care about them anyway so it doesn't matter to me what happens. It does grate over time and I don't blame anyone for *finally* tossing it right back. There's only so much people can put up with. I think it wouldn't have gotten to this point if these feelings had been kept in their appropriate threads, but they weren't.

And your continued attacks on LL/LL spoilers/Luke/Lorelai aren't helping either. So why not put a stop to the madness and focus on the little we've been given?

Obviously the TA plot is brought in to throw a very minor curve-ball to RL. Do we know if Marty returns? If not, then the whole Marty SL was a waste of time. Since DSR has yet to show me a successful "whole" episode, I fear that the TA plot will also just be another waste of time; instead of moving Rory/Logan along.

Most of the posts I've seen view theJSW's posts through the prism of what Jerry D labels "shipper wars." Putting on the stripes shows that that view is incorrect.

theJSW has always defended the SHOW. Not couples, not actors, not ships, the SHOW. He argues that posts attacking the SHOW are inappropriate on a forum dedicated to the SHOW (not to couples or actors or ships, but the entire show). People may agree with his position or not, but he consistently defends the SHOW against all attackers. He is not personal in this defense, he deffends against all attackers.

Speaking now as Captain "Repetitive & Redundant" lots of people have objections to various aspects of the show. theJSW defends the proposition that the show should not be attacked in a fandom thread for that show.

Back inside of Shant's stripes: BOTH sides are right. If you want to criticize the show be prepared to defend why you think it is appropriate to make such criticisim on a fan thread. Certainly theJSW accepts the fact that he has to defend not only the show (which he does consistently) but his arguement that criticisim of the show is inappropriate on a fandom thread.

Again, I don't believe Lorelai was to blame for Rory's sentence. Rory stole a boat, took it for a joyride, call it whatever you want. She took someone else's property. How Lorelai treated Rory during that time had no bearing on the outcome of Rory's court case.

Some judges follow the letter of the law, some are more lenient. The argument here was whether the judge was overly harsh with Rory due to the misconception that she was rich and priveleged. Real life punishment would indicate the judge wasn't as harsh with Rory as she could've been -- she could have given her jail time.

Whatever the judge was, lenient, on target, or overly zealous, it wasn't because Lorelai threw a hissy fit and didn't show up in court. Even if she had been there to plead Rory's case, it wouldn't have made a difference, the sentence would've been the same.

That's my opinion anyway. As you say -- YMMV...whatever the **** that means.

Speaking of labeling, I also dislike and can't agree with the "Hardcore" title that some have taken to dub this thread. IMO, that combative premise about this place often sets the unwarranted disenchanting tone and mood, and I personally hate that.

he can defend the SHOW, i don't have anything against it, but i do get pissed of when he's attacking other posters. i read his posts constantly, and he's not only defending this show, he's attacking people who have different opinnions than him. and now i'm sure he will attack me for saying this.

I think Marty will be back. Didn't he or Rosie say he will be in and out of the show this season
