I’d like to remind you all that this is the main Gilmore Girls spoiler thread, and as such, posters from various shipper groups are free to post here, so if you see someone saying something that you don’t like about “your” favorite character or couple, don’t start fighting with them on this thread, and don’t go into a Gilmore Girls shipper thread if you don’t like the couple that the shipper thread is for. TheCW: Rory (Alexis Bledel) returns from London after the holidays. Lorela (Lauren Graham) is disappointed that Rory celebrated Christmas in London with Logan, but decides to have a "Christmas after Christmas" celebration as a new family complete with trees, decorations and shopping. Luke (Scott Patterson) asks Lorelai to write a character recommendation letter for his custody battle with Anna over April

TheCW: LORELAI MAKES CHRISTMAS WAIT FOR RORY'S RETURN -- Rather than celebrating Christmas while Rory (Alexis Bledel) is in London over the holidays, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) decide to put their holidays on hold.
Once Rory returns to Stars Hollow, they decorate several Christmas trees, do their shopping and even bake Christmas cookies for the first time as a family. Turning up unexpectedly at the inn, Luke (Scott Patterson) asks Lorelai to write a character recommendation letter for his custody battle over April (Vanessa Marano). Lorelai struggles to write the letter until she and Rory run into Luke and April at the mall and Lorelai suddenly remembers how important Luke has always been in Rory's life. Inspired, Lorelai writes the letter and mails it to Luke's attorney.
Rory decides she will write an apology letter to her friend Lucy (Krysten Ritter), explaining why she and Marty kept their past friendship a secret. Melissa McCarthy and Keiko Agena also star. Lee Shallat Chemel directed the episode written by Rebecca Rand Kirshner.

Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany.

BTW I move from 11 to 12 as when Lorelai goes to the diner with the new episode description, I think she’ll go to see how Luke is after the fight with Chris. If not it's more likely to happen after ep 13.

...so it's looking less likely Lorelai goes to the diner in 11, unless she goes but Luke is not there, that still counts as her first visit since Partings right.

I'm thinking 12 to check on Luke after her fight with Chris, then she gets the call about Richard and he drives her since either the Jeep died or she's in no state to drive her self and the Jeep is back at the CS and they need to get there ASAP.

If not there's and outside chance of 13 either before the hospital and read above (for 12) or at the end of the ep to say thank you and tell Luke Chris has gone.

14 seems too far away right now but could happen depending how 13 ends, again read above (for 13).

I'm thinking that somehow Luke gets involved in this whole thing with Emily and Lorelai is no where in sight - not initially. For some reason, I don't think he and Lorelai will wind up getting to the hospital together - I've got nothin' more than a gut feeling on this - don't know why.

I kind of like the idea of Luke off doing stuff for Emily without Lorelai knowing about it - not until much later anyway.
