I'm thinking a re shoot but we don't know who the marks are for.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to get the pictures up until this weekend, because I am on vacation and don't have the cables to get my digital photos onto the computer.
Remember for next time.

A few more tidbits from my tour (before I forget)
- We passed Christopher's house, and the guide said that he got to watch the scene where Luke punched Christopher in 7.02. He said that it took Scott Patterson 11 takes to get the car parked in the right spot on the curb. I thought that was pretty funny.
He had just been told the SL for the season LOL

Quote:
- Star's Hollow looked pretty normal. Weston's was back to being Weston's (I vaguely remember someone saying it had turned into something else?)
It was but I can't remember what.

Quote:
- The outside of Lorelai's house looked the same. Her light by her mailbox had fallen down, but I don't think it had anything to do with something they were shooting. I saw Babette's gnomes sitting in the lawn. Also, the garage is still painted and there's still tons of crap in Luke's boat.
Poor sad boat and shed

Quote:
- The guide let us go into soundstage 12, which is the Gilmore Mansion and Paris's apartment. In the mansion, the pictures on the fireplace of Lorelai and Rory are sitting there and they're actually real pictures of the actresses! I thought that was neat.
Anything new or just random shoots?

Quote:
- The Gilmore dining room table was moved to the side, and the room looked really empty without it. Again, I'm not sure if this was for shooting purposes or not.
Probably shooting to get a camera angle for another scene.

Quote:
- There was a script lying on a little table in the Gilmore living room, but the guide was watching and I was too scared to look at it LOL. I guess this means that they were shooting a scene from 7.13 in there.
Next time CRAB IT! did we teach you nothing, what happened to the spy camera!

Quote:
- Paris's apartment is a really cool set, because there are books everywhere. We got to see all those locks on her door. When you look out her window, and you think you are seeing the street, you are really seeing a big blown up digital photograph. It's a pretty cool illusion.
Lucky you.

Quote:
- On the way out we passed by Lauren and Alexis' trailers. There was this weird patch of fake looking green grass right outside of Lauren's trailer, and the guide said "she just likes it there." He also said that Lauren is a very nice person to talk to, and she always rides around the lot on her bike. Next to the trailer, WE SAW HER BIKE! I'm not sure why, but that made me very excited.

That's pretty much all I've got, but I'll see if I remember anything else in the next few days. I'll try to get the pictures up as soon as I can. Overall, the tour was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone. Also, our guide was extremely good and a big Gilmore fan! His name was Matthew (I think) and he claimed that his wife made him watch the show, but you could tell he really likes it He let us go to the Gilmore soundstage even though our tour time was technically over because he knew how big of a Gilmore fan I was.[/quote]
*Wishes I don't live 1000's of miles away!

I should've been more clear. The tape was right inside the door to the mansion, in the foyer. It was right in the spot that the maid usually greets the girls. The tape very well could have just been the maid, Lorelai, Rory, and Emily, but I really don't know.
I agree it could be anyone.

Wasn't there a long period of time where she didn't date anyone at all? Pre-Max? And in between all the broken relationships, I really don't think she was heart-broken as a single mom. When she opened the Inn, the show made it clear that a part of her had fallen into place. She is not a longing, pathetic woman when she's single; she just dreams of that partner, that person that makes you complete. Don't we all?

Season 4, TISL:
LORELAI: You know, there are very few times in my life when I find myself sitting around thinking, "I wish I was married," but today, I mean -- I'm happy. You know? I like my life. I like my friends. I like my stuff. My time, my space, my TV.
LUKE: Yeah, sure.
LORELAI: But every now and then, just for a moment, I wish I had a partner, someone to pick up the slack. Someone to wait for the cable guy, make me coffee in the morning, meet the stupid sink before it gets sent back to Canada. [wanders to nearby bench and sits]

I agree, Lorelai needs a lot of alone time, a lot of soul searching time. She needs to figure out what she truly wants. But to say that she has jumped from one guy to another because she can't or doesn't want to stand on her own two feet is unfair to her character.

By the way, thanks for all the info JumpinJulie. (Is the 04 a graduation year?)
Yes she needs time to think and IMO that will be 14-18, lots of time (in TV land) to think and work out what she wants and WHO she wants it with, SPEC she finds of gets the same book Luke got and listens to the same guy on the tape!

I did not say that. I specifically mentioned S4 forward since Rory left for school. At no time has she really been w/o a man during that period. And, yes, to some extent she's using/letting them fill gaps in herself. I think Captain's mentions of Rory coming home after the rift and Luke pretty much leaving is a good example. Luke got to come in and play house while Rory wasn't there, filling that hole, once she was back, Luke was gone.

She's married Chris and now is Gigi's stepmother, she can't shuttle them off so she can have Rory time. Actually, that might have something to do with these things they're supposed to remember. Back in the good 'ole days when it was just the two of them and Luke cooked for them, fixed stuff around the house and such.

Thanks for all the tour info, JumpinJulie!
No problem guys. I wish I'd gone when they were shooting, but their vacation is the same as my vacation. In some ways it was better, because they could take us everywhere without worrying about being in somebody's way. Unfortunately, my sister and I were the only Gilmore fans in the group. The guide still gave us more than normal, but I think if there had been more Gilmore fans we would've spent longer in Star's Hollow. And with that, I'm out for the night. I'll get those pictures up ASAP.

No, no Lemon, that's why I said it was a random rant. It wasn't directed at you at all.

Lancer I was kind of struggling between A and E but to give him the benefit of the doubt I decided to go with E.

I have been trying to catch up on the threads. I see that not much has changed, the arguments are the same.

Season 6 ended in a jumble because Amy screwed up and she didn't have time to do the story properly. Logan had a miraculous recovery able to graduate in the morning, a mere week after getting out of the hospital with several broken bones. Emily has eye surgery on Saturday that goes terribly wrong for 1 day and instantly receives a huge financial settlement for her troubles so that she can put the money towards a building in Rory's name, which an architect was able to build a scale model the same day to have it ready for a Monday night dinner which is also conveniently set up with a blind date for Christopher and luckily for Lorelai the woman also happens to be a psychologist who gives her such wonderful advice. Lorelai quickly runs over to Luke's and demands elopement and confesses her love to him and when he doesn't jump she runs and has squicky with Christopher because it just made so much sense. There wasn't a time skip, Logan graduated the same day that Lorelai woke up at Sookie's (after spending the previous day with a sight impaired Emily) which was also the day the Gilmores had the dinner for Rory's building and the blind date for her father and Lorelai broke up with Luke and then immediately slept with Christopher while Rory was throwing a going away party for Logan and not to forget about all the troubadours invaded Stars Hollow. That was a well thought out, uncontrived script in which there was totally continuity as long as you can understand the Gilmore Universe.

Thanks for the tour info JumpinJulie

thanks for the thread!

and thanks for the tour-infos!!!

When should Rory be back from her Europe-Tripp with Logan?
She should already be back in 7.11, shouldn't she?

If Lorelai’s epiphany is about what kind of partner Chris is, I wonder if they’ll put that scene from TISL in the 7.13 previouslies.

Yep, Rory should be back in time for the post-Christmas Christmas.

I’m curious about the timing of Gigi’s return. It would be a whole lot easier on the the child’s psyche if she stayed in Paris until C/L were finished, but that info about the little coat in the hall suggests she’ll be back soon.

And I’m a thread late but you’re right lorelaisgirl, that’s ergo from the Latin, meaning therefore. It’s a line from Buffy. Sookie’s version is ‘Thus the nutty’ (think she says that in 5.02).

ergotheweirdness well we had a tour spoiler with a Gigi size jacket at the CS at the same time ep 11 was shooting and someone thinks they saw the little actress also.

So it looks like Lorelai will have her new family for the xMas after xMas thing in ep 11, including Gigi.

What I've been thinking about is all the fallout from the divorce, not only Rory and Chris but Gig, Emily, Richard and the whole town for that matter, each one is gonna be affected to some degree.

[Pours some wine for the Godfather of Soul.]

Laura, I think that you will get your LORELAI ALONE TIME. It should or could happen from episode 13 onward. IF they go from 13 to 21 with her being alone. She would be alone for one hell of a long stretch. Especially if there were not PROSPECTS on the horizon. This could be used by Lorelai to be...dare I type...REFLECTIVE...about her life. Being reflective...something Luke has been shown to do a few times this year. She needs time to think. Luke will have a fight and a lot of time to think. Hopefully, at the end of all this, they can find one another again. Stranger things have happened in life. Maybe that's the point of that story Sookie told Lorelai about the two 70 year-olds finding one another again. Maybe the ages were not as important as the story. The story being that time and life may change you, but you can find that person again. Even if you thought you lost them. See? Look at that...once again I have proven there was a plan...DAMN IT ! ETA: Genki, you have a baby. That's why you are up. Victorialeigh, you come back, to only post vile and vitriol? You hate Logan so much. You have a hard time with him healing! Not, your Chris hate has nothing on VL's Logan hate. Congrats on that fine achievement. However, as Foxy pointed out (Yes, you get a lame nickname Fox, I apologize .), Rory and Logan are clearly in a different timeline over the last 2 eps of season six. Only at the end of Logan's graduation ceremony (the end of May) in Partings, do Rory and Lorelai rejoin the same timeline. See? It makes sense from a certain point of view.

True Fuzzy, and I’m not going to lose any sleep over it but it would be nice if we could keep the casualties from this relationship to a minimum. Fewer casualties mean less guilt for Lorelai and less time spent on the post-mortem of C/L. It’s a win win (although, not so much because Gigi probably will be there after all like Craig says). I worry that Chris’ll play the Gigi card to try to get Lorelai to slow down the break up.

Lucy sometimes wears clothes 14 sizes too small though, so maybe the coat was hers? I can hope

My vote goes to E. Chris does know (the spoiler after all says something with "choose" and you've to know something to make a desicion )

*Off to re-read thread(s)*
