Well, Mel, there are all sorts of stories about Milo and KAB's falling out. Again, that's not cool, but they are over now. However, he has a very interesting way he carries himself as an actour, that totally comes from Gilmore Girls. As he has gotten older. He has gotten better at bring all sort of levity or gravity to a scene. Which he did in Rocky. How that Angel punk from the PODCAST can refer to his character as a PUNK in that film, is beyond me.

That aside; the TIME-SHIFTING is a big thing the networks are dealing with at the present time. Time-shifting could be the first step into a more ON-DEMAND type system for delivering shows. Where episodes become available as they are finished. The thing of it is; you cannot really FAST-FORWARD through every commercial with a DVR. So, the networks, are dealing with how to continue to SELL ADS in a world where people RECORD their SHOWS to watch them at a later date. A date, possibly, where the ads in those specific episodes are out of date by the time they are viewed.

Hawk, very nice summation of the possible upcoming storylines. I would wager that Lane could easily be ready to deliver 13. This is the most logical explanation as to why Luke would be in the hospital at the same time as Emily, and would explain why he would be running errands. I would even speculate, that we could have another LUKE AND EMILY only scene in 13. Whateverthecase, outside of shenanignans that do not transpire on screen in GG. Luke has to be in the hospital for either Lane or he's taking a court mandated physical. That's all I got. HOW'S YOUR HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY!

I am luke warm about milo. Hate is a strong word. I don't hate the actors. I haven't seen enough of milo's work to make a serious comment about his acting....

Also TV shows and movies are doing product placement more and more to sell thing, I agree Jason more on demand content along with re-running eps on cable the same week is a way to get more people watching at the time they want to watch. TV land is always changing!

I was thinking Lane could be the reason Luke is there but it's a full ep already so maybe not, maybe she pops in 12. We know in ep 11 she's heavily pregnant and annoyed but customers so if she pops in 12 and then the follow up is 13?

I'm really hoping for something like F&S where Luke takes Lorelai not 'cause he has to but 'cause he wants to, does that make sense?

Me with Milo is I like him on Heroes, but I don't consider him a star actor at the moment. I admit that he worked well with his scenes with Scott on GG. What I don't like about him though was his flip floppy attitude towards GG. These past few years first only if you kill me which I wish he stuck to, and then coming back. Plus his remark about Logan and the comment he made about Alexis comment other then that despite my deep hatred towards his character I have no problem with him as an actor

I had been hearing before they broke for the winter hiatus it would be a 3-4 week break.

So right now if I said an exact date I'd be merely guessing. It will in the first ten days of January depending if they went with a 3 or 4 week break after all.

It wasn't brought over with the rest of the info, but the casting notice for the TA in episode 14 gave the production dates as January 3rd - 12th.

Thanks for that, so they go back Wed Jan 3rd by the sounds of it.

ETA - Nadine did Lauren (or anyone else) have any other work planned for their break?

Something involving Lane's pregnancy is the only reason for Luke being at the hospital that I would actually like.

No idea about the others, but to my knowledge Lauren took a well-earned break her first since summer 2005. She does however have her press junket for Because I Said So coming up as well as preparing for her Good Game pilots.

Okay, now I'm actually leaving.

Looking at a calendar, if they start production of 7.14 on Wed Jan 3rd (the earliest probable start date)

7.14: end production 1/12, ep airs 2/13;
7.15: end production 1/24, ep airs 2/20;
7.16: end production 2/5, ep airs 2/27;
7.17: end production 2/15, ep airs 3/7;

If they don't start until Wednesday 1/10, 7.17 would finish shooting on 2/22--7 working days before it airs on 3/7. So I doubt they resume later than 1/10 at the latest

I'm actually just glad that he's there, but that's because i'm dying for some good LL stuff. But I don't want Luke to show up just to support Lorelai. That's not his place anymore. I hope it's a coincidence or something. Like he's at the hospital and runs into Emily, or that somehow he's with Lorelai when she gets the call, maybe something involving the letter, but I doubt it, it would be too F&S. Even if the whole ep's at the hospital, Luke could run into Rory, Lorelai or emily and explain to them that he's there because of Lane or something else. This is still the biggest question I have, why is he at the hospital?

So Lauren's gonna be busy came Jan, GG back in production and a movie, can't wait for the pictures.

I would love Luke to take Lorelai in a re-play of F&S or something similar and like I said maybe Chris leaves at the start of IRBIP after a fight with Lorelai, and during the heartache with her dad being sick she opens up to Luke, then at the end of the ep Chris calls to make up but Lorelai says it's over.

I'm hoping Richard is conscious for part of ep 13 so he and Lorelai can talk.
