Gossipcom technically said that it was 99% sure that Logan would be at the hospital, so I wouldn't consider it a speculation, exactly. I'm expecting to see Logan at the hospital, myself. It would be great to see him interacting with all of the Gilmores! I've wanted to see more Logan/Lorelai scenes since AVV.

It would be awesome, I agree. I also agree about wanting to see another scene with Logan and Lorelai. I think the two of them could drive Rory nuts, in a good way. (Not that I am expecting this particular episode to show that quality!)

But we still don't know how he gets into this and why Chris is not there, is he on a business trip, Lorelai doesn't call him and when he gets back he finds out and has his pity party?

Wouldn't it be awesome if Lorelai and Chris have the fight about the letter. Chris takes off and Lorelai gets the call that Richard is in hospital. Luke called Lorelai when April got sick so now it's her turn to call Luke. He drives her to the hospital and when they get there Chris is already there because someone called him (Rory or even Lorelai when she was on her way over there). Chris of course gets even more pissed and leaves and has his pity party.

Or even better. Lorelai gets the call while they're fighting over the letter and Chris is like: "I don't care about your dad at the moment. Your wrote that letter for that diner guy ..."

Too many options for the downfall of Chris!

My spec C&L fight over the letter, Lorelai says she needs to go for a walk and Chris leaves for work. Lorelai ends up outside Luke's, she goes in for the first time in 6 months, they start to talk, he says thank you for the letter. Her phone rings it's about Richard, 'cause it's now snowing and Lorelai is a mess from the news Luke drives her. Then maybe Chris shows up when he gets a call from Rory, he walks in and sees Lorelai in Luke's arms aka F&S.

Everybody here posts his or her own opinion. Everybody ... and the fact that you have a hard time having a good discussion with Jason doesn't mean he is necessarily the one not open towards different opinions. You might not be open to his opinions, which of course could just as easily be the case.

He thinks for now these two together are the most romantic thing on this show, so what? So he mentions VOLTRON VOLTRON VOLTRON and for him they are important to this show, but Jason discusses all aspects of this show on the MT ... or that is what I have seen. So there are many many people around here that only and I mean only either post about L/L or L/C but in a way it only has something to with L/L. Anything gets related to L/L. There have been whole threads only about L/L ... so then there is this guy who not only talks about all characters on this show, but also shows his love for a certain couple ... it ain't L/L ... nope he loves Rory and Logan ... VOLTRON. And he shows this ... again so what? How does him expressing his love for this couple, just like many posters here in a much more exclusive manner only talk about the couple L/L, make him ask you to do the same? I am actually glad this other couple gets some attention and some love on this thread also ...

His 3-4 eps will be for the divorce and prob being there at Rory´s graduation, but I don´t expect R/C actually having a father/daughter relationship without his No.1, Lorelai, around......and he has stolen enough important screen-time for LL, RL and ER already......

Tanja, you are responding with what you are expecting, but I was asking if you were not hoping that for Rory's sake. I do ... it's her father, I will as long as this show lasts hope for Rory to have a good relationship with her dad. And again Chris has not stolen any screentime. Chris = the Lorelai SL. And well, it's not as if Rory is getting a lot of screentime this half of the season, so I want her to have some more the next half and yeah I wouldn't mind some scenes of her with Chris ...

Sandra, no, I am not tolerant of bull**** heaped upon this show on a daily basis. No show or film that I have ever liked or loved, has ever been discused on the net like Gilmore Girls. Excuse me for not being overjoyed with characters that get slagged for reasons varying as wide as personal trauma, personal pain, or all-around pettiness towards character trying to hard to be slammed with pettiness. I understand why this happens due to the excepetional writing of this world. However, it never ceases, to be frustrating anytime I run across it.

Whateverthecase, if you want a discussion, then please bring something to the table outside of your belief that Emily being Mother Cabrini. If she were so great a mother. Would you think that Emily would have said what she said at the end of 21ITLN? I do not think so. And, please, stop acting as if one can have a discussion with someone that's BIASED about one part of the show. You are a biased VT. Which is no different than a biased JJ, BB, or even a Sophie. Apparently, I am supposed to be able to steer through your biases like Captain Jack using a special compass. Who knew that the net could be so tretcherous?

Finally, the only truth here, is the fact that Lorelai Gilmore is no different than Emily Gilmore, when it comes to dealing with a child doing something disappointing. It's nice to know that nola's theory pretty much nailed the reason why Lorelai gets as much defense as she does. Who cares about ages or what not? When your kid is in trouble. If you are only thinking about yourself or the perception of other people. You are doing nothing more than pulling a dick move on your kid. Rory was 20, but who knew there was an age-limit on helping your kid out? Thanks for the share, Leigh. I will keep this in mind in the future.

So ep 13 is mostly in the hospital, Chris is in the ep, so how much? Maybe they fight at the start, leading to the pity party and no Chris at the hospital. Then at the end we have Chris leaving the CS and Lorelai life?

He wasn´t important the first 6 seasons, or the first 22 years of her life, and she lived pretty good without him.....and I don´t care about Chriss, so.....
They can talk on the phone, or meet OFF-screen, but I want more RL, more Rory at Yale and more Rory/Lorelai.....not RC.....

Yes, you do not care about Chris. So I do not care about your argument. Since it's pretty much negated by the way the show has dealt with Chris. He might not have been around or discussed, but his presense was always there. Sort of like the way Stache and Pearls are always in the background, but to somewhat a lesser degree. Chris has always had some level of importance on this show. Nice of Amy and Dave to follow through with it finally.

Chris will always be important, in some way, to Rory...yes...it never seems that way because of the way that they use Chris. However, if you and I know, that Chris and Rory need to have some sort of healing process on screen. The writers should know as well. Which, hopefully, will lead to CHRIS (FINALLY FOR THE LOVE OF ATHENA) only coming around for one Lorelai...the Jr one from Stars Hollow.

His absence I feel was important, since it lead to the relationship Lorelai and Rory have. And her dad not being there must have had an impact on Rory. I think it was Lemon who a while back had this theory about her dad not being there for Rory has lead to some Issues. Lemon, if you are around later? Could you sum that up again please ... if that was you?

Just like Emily and Richard were not around in every ep, their influence was always visible, they were in a way always around, because of the impact they had had on Lorelais life. Same I feel about Chris ... he was always there ... not directly, but indirectly. And I guess when I say I do want some Chris/Rory scenes I am not thinking about them being together every ep. No not at all, since I don't think that would be realistic especially with Rory leading her own life more and more. So I am not thinking some scenes between Rory and Chris would mean there can't be no scenes between her and Logan anymore, or her at Yale, or her with Lorelai.
