I'm sure it's Richard's TA, but it doesn't say that the role is recurring so I doubt he's a new love interest or new corner of a LTFH. Probably just another random guy to worship at the altar of Rory Gilmore.

That makes it make even more sense as to how the whole ep's in the hospital. I wonder if Rory's with him when it happens. So really, since it's in ep. 12, Lorelai could be on her way by the end of ep. 12.... the real mystery now is what Luke's doing there.

I'm even more convinced now that he's thanking Lorelai for the letter when she gets the call. Him going to see/bring Lane is just too strange.

I agree, it makes the most sense. Watch, they'll probably pull out some stupid random reason why he's there that we never thought of.

Okay the TA is for ep 14 right so IMO he can't be there for that.

Ep 11 - Luke ask for the Letter
Ep 12 - Chris finds the letter and maybe it ends with Richard colapsing?
Ep 13 - Hospital, C&L over
Ep 14 - Maybe Richard getting back on his feet and the TA stuff?

TA means Teaching Assistant. They are graduate students who help professors with grading papers and tests for undergrad courses.

So if Richard collapses in ep12 already the big fight between Lorelai and Chris in ep13 must be still about the letter. Boy she must write one hell of a letter there

Nice list, Craig, although I think the end of L/C will be in 7x14, not 7x13 already. As well as Richard's collapse might be the cliff (Chris sulking and the collapse therefore might happen on the same day/hour as there won't be a time lap, but only a wink between the eps)

Sooo - anyone else thinks that Rory will witness the collaps and will be the one to inform Emily? (Or Lorelai and tell her to inform Emily?)

But unless one of Chris' extra eps is 14 (which I can live with) then could his last scene be ep 13 but them not over until 14?
