But Luke is the hero. Logan is just a younger version of the evil, rich, morally vacant Chris. I know this because I've read it all across the internets.... I hope Logan successfully buys them from Al Gore so that he can fix this misunderestimation.

If anyone helps Luke it will be Lorelai, it would be great if she just one day slipped Luke a check for the $30k like he did for her after he tells her he doesn't know what he is gonna do and by magic he needs $30k for the lawyer.

It would show she has his back and also bring back what a lot of fans have been hoping to see.

Let me get this straight, Chris spends money getting to know his daughter and he is evil/clueless for trying to buy her affection, but Lorelai--who happens to have 30K of her own, non-Chris money sitting around--can spend that kind of $$$ on her hubby's attacker (I tend to agree with the specs that anger management was brought up for a reason) and she's not trying to buy affection?

I thought people (although NOT you, Lancer) hated Logan & Chris b/c they have money. Wouldn't Lorelai funding Luke's child custody case be the same thing?

Besides, she better keep it for her own divorce lawyer

The point is valid though: She would be spending a lot of money--more than Logan or Chris. And since it has to be HER $$$, yeah how is it different from the "evil" ones (Logan & Chris) spending $$$?

Well I never hated Chris 'cause he has money, there are lots of other reasons LOL

I was thinking any money would come from the DFI accounts as that's where the money went and they business should be pretty solvent by now and $30k could be done.

As yet we don't know what money Lorelai has from this marriage, are there assets now combined so it's their money and not just Chris'? and when it comes to an end even though Lorelai would not take any would Chris give her some or would the courts step in anyway?

ETA - As long as we don't have Chris (or Emily) saying here is X $ to help Luke, now don't see him again! this is not DH!
