I AM SO EXCITED to see what Lorelai and Rory have to say about who/what luke has been to them over the years... I think we'll get some good stuff from lorelai and some good he was like a dad from rory...

and i was really happy to see that L&L are a major support system for eachother... and causing marital problems!

I think at the hospital Luke will be there for Lorelai and Rory primarily, and wind up helping emily as well, cause he always helps everyone.... and emily will like him more, and realize that lorelai is more happy when luke is just around then she she is happy being married to christopher, and emily will realize that she doesnt even want to work at the marriage to chris because she loves luke to much, and emily is beginning to see why?

I wonder if Emily and Luke might have a little talk while they are together...
Emily's observed C&L for a while now and she knows L&L had been having trouble before the breakup. Maybe she'll call them idiots again for letting things fizzle. She's always had an eye on them and she probably sees that 'it' is still there. Hopefully she will will see by then that C&L just aren't meant to be.

ETA: Of course Lane and Zach will think it's awesome that they have "rock babies". Also, if it happens near the end of the epi, and she's still in the hospital, it would make a logical reason for Luke to go and visit her early in the next epi, setting up him being at the hospital when the Gilmore's arrive.

Luke will go to the hosiptal to sing "I Wanna Be Sedated" to Lane/Zach's kids? Now that I want to see.

Considering that Rory and Logan seem to be on good terms in 7.11 I think that Logan would be at the hospital if at all possible.

If they are in good terms (and it would seem that they will be), and Rory calls on Logan for emotional support, I don't see why not. It could prove to be quite an emotional time for Rory, particularly if she happens to be at Yale when the crisis occurs, and if Richard collapses while teaching there, for example.

With the Logan discussion, if R/L are stable at that point, which it does look like, it might cause drama if Rory calls and needs him, but Mitchum won't let him leave work. Then Logan faces the choice of being there for Rory, or jeopardising his job. It could serve to show Logan exactly HOW important Rory has become to him, leading him to.....well, you all know. LOL!
