thanks for the new spolier and pictures

i don't know why but i'm really sad =( at first i loved L&L but now since CHris i feel like i am on a seesaw up and down ...i just don't see how they will work it out she can't get her heart on one person , she loves Chris, then Luke then Chris.... and i just can't see her leaving a relationship like this again, whats to say when she goes back to Luke she wont do the same....

Simple answer to that one. She doesn't love Chris - sorry bad wording around here. She is NOT IN love with Chris. Her heart belongs to Luke. Always does always will.

Does someone already know who writes the episode ?

i just don't get Lorelai.... can't she ever make up her mind... it's upseting... why did she sleep with him in the first place.
jeez it's also making her look stupid if she's saying all this stuff with out meaning it how can you ever trust her.

i made a pact with me and my firned that if this is the last year/season ogfGG i would be spolier-free after episode 11 but nowadays i don't know if i can live up to that....

If it's all about love and who she loves, then why is she having the EXACT same problems with Chris that she had with Luke? She never once compromised with Luke. The house, the bedroom suit, Rory, the wedding, etc., etc. She never fought for their relationship either. She can say he didn't let her in, she never asked either till she'd already decided ALL ON HER OWN, to end it.

And yet, she's supposed to be IN LOVE with Luke.

The problem isn't Luke OR Chris or even how Lorelai feels. It's LORELAI herself.

To Whom it May Concern,

My name is Lorelai Gilmore and I have known Lucas Danes for approximately ten years. My friendship with him has allowed me to see the responsible, family man qualities that Luke possesses as a natural part of his character. He is not only a father of thirteen year old April Nardini, but also a devoted son to the late William Danes, a caring brother to his sister Liz and her husband, a supportive uncle to his nephews Jess Mariano and William, a dedicated member of the Stars Hollow community, and a respectable business owner. He is also a selfless, caring and dependable friend, as I have seen during my years of knowing him.

I met Luke Danes as a customer in his diner, and regularly eat there with my daughter, Rory, who is now at Yale University. During those years, he would offer me any kind of support I needed with respect to my homeowner needs; voluntarily fixing porches or roof shingles. Luke has been a regular friend to both me and my younger daughter. He has baked her birthday cakes and attended her parties, cooked for her when she became, attended her graduation from high school, and helped her move in to university. He always asks her about school and shows concern in her well-being. As a witness to all he has done for my daughter, albeit completely voluntarily, I have to say he one of the most influential male role models in my daughter's life, following her grandfather. Her father, in comparison, had a considerably small presence in her life and was rarely a supportive part of her life, despite his relative proximity during the past few years. If you would ask my daughter, now twenty two and almost out of university, about Luke, she would have nothing bad to say of him.

I was also a witness to Luke's behaviour as a guardian to his nephew, Jess, when he was seventeen. Jess stayed with Luke for about two years while trying to push through his last years of high school. He had arrived because his mother was having trouble disciplining him and he was doing so poorly in school. Luke had known nothing about parenting or raising children at the time Jess came to live with him, but nevertheless tried as best as he knew to keep his nephew out of trouble and on a positive path. He put him through school and gave him a job at his diner to learn responsibility. He showed discipline and caring to the boy despite Jess's misgivings as a teenager. Luke also regularly sought my advice for parenting because he wanted to ensure he was doing what was best for his nephew. Jess regrettably did not pass high school despite Luke's efforts, but during the past two years, I have learned that he wrote a short novel, and started up a small bookstore in Philadelphia. He has emerged a young, responsible adult, and I believe his success is due in part by Luke's role model behaviour and support.

Lucas Danes, has been a family man ever since I've known him. He had a tight relationship with his father, whom he cared for during his last years of life. Luke supports his sister and nephews during any crisis no matter the sacrifices he would have to make. He's selfless and caring, although humble at his positive attributes.

Luke had not known of his daughter April Nardini, until approximately 15 months ago when she informed him from an informal DNA test. This was because Anna Nardini did not inform Luke that she was pregnant after their break up. Despite the twelve years that Luke missed, he immediately stepped up to the plate to seek a relationship with April Nardini, as well as pay financial support for her. In about a year, Luke has developed a positive relationship with his daughter, so close that he was trusted to take care of her for several weeks while Anna was away to take care of her sick mother. Luke wanted to get to know April and be a good father. He went on a class trip with her and arranged her birthday party last year. He also recently dealt with a medical crisis with maturity as I was a witness to. He called me when his daughter was feeling ill for advice, and immediately took her to the hospital when I informed him it could be serious. He stayed at the hospital the full three days that she was there.

In summary, Luke Danes is a terrific father, role model, and friend. He possesses the character of a responsible guardian and a supportive adult figure.

April has a fantastic father who loves her and would do anything for her. Through my experiences over the past ten years, I would conclude that he deserves and is responsible to take on partial custody over his only daughter, as it is necessary in maintaining and developing the relationship they have only started to experience themselves.

I agree but Luke needs to know that, back in ep 7.02 he thought she was out, so he did the right thing and let go (thinking this is what Lorelai wanted) IMO she didn't. She thought Luke would not want her 'cause what she did in sleeping with Chris.

BTW - this is the first ep I have re-watched and even though I hate the thought/sight or them in bed it was such a defining moment to say they are NOT on the same page, there not even on the same book or in the same library!

I also liked the Kirk stuff!

the writing is bad. I mean just think about those LL scenes we got. if it isnt weird for any of them then why doenst lorelai visit the diner?

it does not make any sense.

and i would hate such a good idea like rory and lorelai talking about luke played out lame. it would ruin a lot. i shouldnt exspect too much. I've learned my lession

Lorelai may be sad that Rory is not there for Christmas but I hope she gets used to that. If Rory plans on being an overseas correspondent, she may not always be home for the holidays.

I agree little_earthquake what was the point of the stuff Luke said in ep 7.02 if we have yet to see it on screen. But the last thing I wanted was Lorelai going into the diner like nothing had changed. Or months late we get a diner scene like she had been going there and we just didn't see it on screen.

my guess is that lorelai doesn't visit the diner because she know how chris feels about luke and i think she may just plain feel uncomfortable around luke, given that she ended their engagement and turned right around and married chris.
